It must satisfy certain conditions可接受的小区:是指UE可以驻留并进行紧急呼叫的小区。它必须满足特定的条件。Access Stratum; Access Stratum SDU (Service Data Unit) Unit of data transferred over the access stratum SAP (Service Access Point) in the Core Network or in the User Equipment. 接入层SDU(业务数据单元):在核心网或UE的接入层SAP(业务接入点)上传送的数据单元。 Active mode; Active mode is the state of a User Equipment when processing a call激活模式:“激活模式”是指UE处理呼叫时所处的状态。Active Set Set of radio links simultaneously involved in a specific communication service between an UE and a UTRAN access point. 激活集:在UE和UTRAN接入点之间的一个特定的通信业务所同时涉及的无线链路的集合。ALCAP Generic name for the transport signaling protocols used to set-up and tear-down transport bearers.ALCAP:用于建立和拆除传输承载的传输信令协议的一般性称谓。Allowable PLMN This is a PLMN which is not in the list of forbidden PLMN in the UE. 准入的PLMN:不在UE所禁止的PLMNs列表内的PLMN。Available PLMN A PLMN where the UE has found a cell that satisfies certain conditions.可用的PLMN:指UE找到满足特定条件的小区所处的PLMN。Average transmit power The average transmitter output power obtained over any specified time interval, including periods with no transmission.平均发射功率:在任意特定时间间隔内,包括不发射的时间在内的,发射机输出功率的平均值。Average Transmitter Power Per Traffic Channel (dBm) The mean of the total transmitted power over an entire transmission period.每个业务信道的平均发射功率(dBm):在整个发射时间段内的总发射功率的均值。C Cable, Connector, and Combiner Losses (Transmitter) (dB) The combined losses of all transmission system components between the transmitter output and the antenna input (all losses in positive dB values).电缆,连接器和组合器损耗(发射方)(dB):在发射机输出和天线输入之间的所有发射系统元件的组合损耗(所有的损耗以正的dB值表示)。Cable, Connector, and Splitter Losses (Receiver) (dB) The combined losses of all transmission system components between the receiving antenna output and the receiver input. 电缆,连接器和分离器损耗(接收方)(dB):在接收天线输出和接收机输入之间的所有发射系统元件的组合损耗(所有的损耗以正的dB值表示)Call Control; Camped on a cell The UE is in idle mode and has completed the cell selection/reselection process and has chosen a cell. The UE monitors system information and (in most cases) paging information. Note that the services may be limited, and that the PLMN may not be aware of the existence of the UE within the chosen cell.驻留在一个小区:UE处于空闲模式,已经完成了小区选择/再选择过程,并已经选择了一个小区。UE监控系统信息,和(在多数情况下)寻呼信息。注意此时业务可能被限制,而且在被选择的小区内,PLMN可能不知道UE的存在。Cell A cell is a geographical area that can be identified by a UE from a (cell) identification that is broadcast from one UTRAN Access Point.小区:小区是一个地理区域,可以由用户设备通过UTRAN接入点广播的识别符进行识别。Coded Composite Transport Channel (CCTrCH) A data stream resulting from encoding and multiplexing of one or several transport channels.码组合传输信道(CCTrCH):通过一个或多个传输信道的编码和复用而产生的一个数据流。Common Channel A Channel not dedicated to a specific UE.公共信道:不是专用于某一特定UE的信道。Control channel A control channel is a logical channel that carries system control information.控制信道:“控制信道”是一个用于运送系统控制信息的逻辑信道。Controlling RNC A role an RNC can take with respect to a specific set of UTRAN access points. There is only one Controlling RNC for any UTRAN access point. The Controlling RNC has the overall control of the logical resources of its UTRAN access points. 控制RNC:特指一个与一组特定的UTRAN接入点集合相关的RNC。对任何一个UTRAN接入点,只存在一个控制RNC。控制RNC将全面控制UTRAN接入点的逻辑资源。Coverage area The coverage area is the area over which a UMTS service is provided with the service probability above a certain threshold.覆盖区域:覆盖区域是指一个区域,提供给该区域的UMTS业务的业务概率在某一特定的门限之上。D Dedicated Channel A channel dedicated to a specific UE.专用信道:一个专用于某一特定UE的信道。Downlink A downlink is a unidirectional radio link for the transmission of signals from a UTRAN access point to a UE. Also in general the direction from Network to UE.下行链路:从UTRAN接入点到UE进行信号传输的单向无线链路。一般来说其方向是从网络到用户设备。Drift RNS The role an RNS can take with respect to a specific connection between a UE and UTRAN. An RNS that supports the Serving RNS with radio resources when the connection between the UTRAN and the User Equipment need to use cell(s) controlled by this RNS is referred to as Drift RNS.漂移RNS:特指一个与UE和UTRAN之间的特定连接相关的RNS。当UTRAN和用户设备间的连接需要使用由RNS控制的小区时,该RNS用无线资源来支持服务RNS,则称此RNS为漂移RNS。DRX cycle; The individual time interval between reading initial paging information for specific UEDRX周期:读取发给某一特定UE的初始寻呼信息之间的时间间隔。EExplicit Diversity Gain (dB) The effective gain achieved using diversity techniques. 明确的分集增益(dB):通过使用分集技术而得到的有效的增益。HHandoff Gain/Loss (dB) This is the gain/loss factor (+ or -) brought by handoff to maintain specified reliability at the cell boundary.切换增益/损耗(dB):这是在小区边界为确保通话的可靠性而进行切换时所带来的增益/损耗因子(+或-)。Handover The transfer of a users connection from one radio channel to another (can be the same or different cell).切换:将一个用户的连接从一个无线信道转到另一个无线信道的过程(可以在同一小区内或不同小区间进行)。Hard Handover Hard handover is a category of handover procedures where all the old radio links in the UE are abandoned before the new radio links are established.硬切换:硬切换是指这样一类切换过程,即在新的无线链路建立之前,UE内的所有的旧的无线链路都已被放弃。Home PLMN This is a PLMN where the Mobile Country Code (MCC) and Mobile Network Code (MNC) of the PLMN identity are the same as the MCC and MNC of the IMSI.归属PLMN:一个PLMN的移动国家码(MCC)和移动网络码(MNC)与IMSI的MCC和MNC一致时,则称该PLMN为归属PLMN。I Idle mode The state of UE switched on but which does not have any established RRC connection.空闲模式:UE被打开但没有建立任何RRC连接的状态。Information Data Rate Rate of the user information, which must be transmitted over the Air Interface. For example, output rate of the voice codec.信息数据速率:必须通过空中接口发射的用户信息的速率。例如:声码器的输出速率。Initial paging information This information indicates if the UE needs to continue to read more paging information and eventually receive a page message.初始寻呼信息:这个信息指出UE是否需要继续读取更多的寻呼信息,并最终接收到一条寻呼消息。Initial paging occasion The paging occasion the UE uses as starting point for its paging DRX cycle.初始寻呼时刻:UE用初始寻呼时刻作为它的DRX周期的起始点。Intercell handover A handover between different cells. An intercell handover requires network connections to be altered.小区间切换:不同小区间的切换。一个小区间切换要求改变网络连接。Interference Signal Code Power (ISCP); Given only interference power is received, the average power of the received signal after despreading to the code and combining干扰信号码功率(ISCP):当只接收到干扰功率时,给出此值。这个值是指接收到的信号在解扩和合并后的平均功率。Intracell handover A handover within one sector or between different sectors of the same cell. An intracell handover does not require network connections to be altered.小区内切换:一个扇区内或同一小区内不同扇区间的切换。小区内切换不要求改变网络连接。Iu Interconnection point between an RNC and a Core Network. It is also considered as a reference point.Iu:在RNC和核心网间的互连节点。也可认为是一个参考节点。Iub Interface between an RNC and a Node B.Iub:RNC和Node B之间的接口。Iur A logical interface between two RNC. Whilst logically representing a point to point link between RNC, the physical realisation may not be a point to point link.Iur:两个RNC之间的逻辑接口。在逻辑上它可表示为RNCs间的点到点链路,而在物理实现上可以不是一个点到点的链路。L Location Registration (LR) The UE registers its presence in a registration area, for instance regularly or when entering a new registration area.位置登记(LR):UE在一个登记区内进行登记,举例来说,可以是定期地进行登记,也可以是在进入一个新的登记区时进行登记。Logical Channel A logical channel is an information stream dedicated to the transfer of a specific type of information over the radio interface. Logical Channels are provided on top of the MAC layer.逻辑信道:是指一个在无线接口上传送特定类型信息的信息流。逻辑信道是在MAC层上提供的Logical Model A Logical Model defines an abstract view of a network or network element by means of information objects representing network element, aggregations of network elements, the topological relationship between the elements, endpoints of connections (termination points), and transport entities (such as connections) that transport information between two or more termination points.The information objects defined in the Logical Model are used, among others, by connection management functions. In this way a physical implementation independent management is achieved.逻辑模型:一个逻辑模型是对一个网络、网络元素、网络元素的集合、元素间的拓扑逻辑关系、连接的端点(终止点)、在两个或更多终端节点间传送信息的传送实体的抽象定义,网络元素是通过网络元素的信息对象来表示的。在逻辑模型中定义的信息对象将被连接管理功能所使用。这样可实现一个相对独立的物理实施的管理方式。Logical O&M; Logical O&M is the signaling associated with the control of logical resources (channels, cells,) owned by the RNC but physically implemented in the Node B. The RNC controls these logical resources. A number of O&M procedures physically implemented in Node B impact on the logical resources and therefore require an information exchange between RNC and Node B. A LSA is an operator-defined area, for which specific access conditions apply. This may correspond to an area in which the Core Network offers specific services. A LSA may be defined within a PLMN or globally. Therefore, a LSA may offer a non-contiguous radio coverageLSA:局部化的业务区。LSA是一个由运营者定义的区域,对于这个区域,使用一些特定的接入条件。这可以与一个由核心网提供特别业务的区域相对应。LSA可以在PLMN内定义,也可以在全球范围内定义。因而,LSA可以提供一个非连续的无线覆盖。M Macro cells Macro cells are outdoor cells with a large cell radius.宏小区:小区半径较大的室外小区称为宏小区。Macro diversity handover Macro diversity is a operation state in which a User Equipment simultaneously has radio links with two or more UTRAN access points for the sole aim of improving quality of the radio connection or providing seamless.宏分集切换:宏分集为一种运行状态,在这种状态下,用户设备将与两个或更多个UTRAN接入点同时有无线链路的连接,其唯一的目的是提高无线连接的质量或提供无缝覆盖。Maximum output Power This refers to the measure of average power at the maximum power setting.最大输出功率:指在最大功率设置时的平均功率。Maximum peak power The peak power observed when operating at a given maximum output power. 最大峰值功率:指运行在给定的最大输出功率时所测到的峰值功率。Maximum Power Setting The highest value of the Power control setting which can be used.最大功率设定:指功率控制设定可以使用的最大值。Maximum Total Transmitter Power (dBm) The aggregate maximum transmit power of all channels.最大总发射机功率(dBm):所有信道上的最大发射功率的总和。Maximum Transmitter Power Per Traffic Channel (dBm) The maximum power at the transmitter output for a single traffic channel. 每个业务信道上的最大发射机功率(dBm):发射机在单个业务信道上输出的最大功率。Medium Access Control ; Micro cells Micro cells are small cells.微小区:“微小区”是半径较小的小区。Mobile evaluated handover Mobile evaluated handover (MEHO) is a type of handover triggered by an evaluation made in the mobile. The mobile evaluates the necessity of handover based on the measured radio environment and based on criteria defined by the network. When the evaluation meets the hand-off criteria the necessary information is sent from the mobile to the network. The network then decides on the necessity of the handover based on the reported evaluation result and other conditions, e.g. uplink radio environment and/or availability of network resources, the network may then execute the handover.移动台估值的切换:MEHO是一种由移动台进行估值来触发的切换。移动台根据对无线环境的测量并基于网络定义的准则来估计切换的必要性。当估计的值满足切换的要求时,移动台将向网络发送必要的信息。网络根据汇报上来的估计的结果和其它条件,例如上行链路的无线环境和/或网络资源的可用性,来确定切换的必要性,然后网络可以执行切换。Mobile Station A Mobile Station (MS) is an entity capable of accessing a set of UMTS services via one or more radio interfaces. This entity may be stationary or in motion within the UMTS service area while accessing the UMTS services, and may simultaneously serve one or more users.移动台:一个“移动台”(MS)是指能通过一个或多个无线接口接入到一系列UMTS业务的实体。在UMTS服务区域内,此实体可以是静止不动的,也可以处于运动当中,可同时为一个或多个用户提供服务。Mobility Management A relation between the mobile station and the UTRAN that is used to set-up, maintain and release the various physical channels.移动性管理:移动台与UTRAN间的关系,用于建立,保持和释放不同的物理信道。N Node B A logical node responsible for radio transmission / reception in one or more cells to/from the User Equipment. Terminates the Iub interface towards the RNC.Node B:在一个或多个小区内,负责向/从用户设备发送/接收的逻辑节点。它终止了至RNC的Iub接口。Non-Access Stratum Protocols between UE and the core network that are not terminated in the UTRAN. 非接入层:指在UE和核心网间的协议,它并没有在UTRAN被终止。P Paging Paging is the act of seeking a User Equipment.寻呼:寻呼即为搜寻一个用户设备的操作。Paging occasion The time instances where it is possible to receive initial paging information寻呼时刻:可能接收到初始寻呼信息的时刻。Peak Power The instantaneous power of the RF envelope which is not expected to be exceeded for 99.9% of the time.峰值功率:在99.9%的时间内,RF包络的瞬时功率不超过的值定义为峰值功率Physical channel data stream In the uplink, a data stream that is transmitted on one physical channel. In the downlink, a data stream that is transmitted on one physical channel in each cell of the active set.物理信道数据流:在上行链路中,指的是在一个物理信道上发射的数据流。在下行链路中,指的是在激活集中的每个小区在一个物理信道上发射的数据流。Physical Channel In FDD mode, a physical channel is defined by code, frequency and, in the uplink, relative phase (I/Q). A radio frame is divided into 15 time slots of 0.666 ms duration. The unit of data that is mapped to a radio frame (10 ms time interval) may also be referred to as radio frame.无线帧:一个无线帧是一个有编号的,长为10ms的时间间隔,用于在无线物理信道上的数据传输。一个无线帧被分成15个时隙,每个时隙长0.666ms。映射到一个无线帧(10ms时间间隔)的数据单元也可称作为无线帧。Radio interface The radio interface is the tetherless interface between User Equipment and a UTRAN access point. It is e.g. used by the MAC protocol on common Transport Channels (RACH, FACH, PCH).无线网络临时标识符(RNTI):当存在一个RRC连接时,RNTI是UE的一个标识符。举例来说,MAC协议在公共传输信道(RACH,FACH,PCH)上使用RNTI。Radio Resource Control; Received Signal Code Power (RSCP) Given only signal power is received, the average power of the received signal after despreading and combining.接收信号码功率(RSCP):指当仅接收信号功率时,接收到的信号在解码和组合后的平均功率。Receiver Antenna Gain (dBi) The maximum gain of the receiver antenna in the horizontal plane (specified as dB relative to an isotropic radiator).接收天线增益(dBi):在水平极化方向,接收天线的最大增益(以相对于各相同性辐射体的dB值来衡量)。Receiver Noise Figure (dB) Receiver noise figure is the noise figure of the receiving system referenced to the receiver input.接收噪声系数(dB):为相对于接收机输入的接收系统的噪声系数。Receiver Sensitivity (dBm) This is the signal level needed at the receiver input that just satisfies the required Eb/(No+Io).接收机灵敏度(dBm):指在接收机输入处刚好满足所需Eb/(No+Io)的的信号电平。Registered PLMN (RPLMN) This is the PLMN on which the UE has performed a location registration successfully.登记PLNN(RPLMN):指UE已经成功地进行了位置登记的PLMN。Registration Area A (NAS) registration area is an area in which t
