Module 4 Fun timeUnit 7 School clubs 教材分析本课是教材Module 4 Unit 7的教学设计。本单元的语言功能项目是To revise vocabulary and expressions to describe school clubs.主要话题是The students are able to use the key words correctly, 本课内容贴近学生的生活和学习实际,为学生操练对话创设了一个真实的语言情景,有利于学生在比较接近实际的情景中听听说说,从而培养他们运用英语进行交际的能力。 教学目标【知识目标】1. To revise vocabulary and expressions to describe school clubs.2. To guess meaning from context.3. The students are able to use the key words correctly.【能力目标】To use the sentences in context.【情感目标】利用多种游戏或活动形式培养学生对英语学习的浓厚兴趣。 教学重难点【教学重点】The students are able to use the key words correctly.【教学难点】通过阅读活动,引导学生通过阅读抓住关键信息,了解故事大意,通过角色扮演,让学生巩固和运用本单元所学核心词汇和句型。 课前准备Tape recorder, Multimedia. 教学过程Step 1. Reading and listening1. Reading(1) Free talk What are your hobbies, what school club do you join ?Show the questions: What school club do you like?(2) Show the pictures about the school clubs.2. Fast reading(1) Show the question:a. How many school club do they mentioned ?b. What can you learn from the Rocket Club?c. What can you do in the Solar Club?d. Can we use power from the sun?e. What club will Linda join ?(2) Let the students get the general idea of the text.3. While reading(1) Reading comprehension.(2) Hand out the sheet and design the blank according to the important information.Then check the answers with students.To make them get familiar with the details of the text and train their ability of reading.4. ListeningPlay the listening materials , stop when necessary. And then check the answers. To train the students ability of catching the information of the listening materials. Step 2. Grammar1. Show the sentence :What did you do last night ? To arouse the students interest in learning about the simple past tense. 2. Learn the rules in P91.Explain the rules about the usage of changing the verbs present forms into the simple past tense.To let students take part in the class actively and have a better understanding of how to use different tenses.Step 3. Vocabulary1. Freely talkDo you attend any club in school? Show the questions on PPT and guide the students to come into the topic of the unit.To arouse the interest and lead them to get into the words of the new words. 2. New words(1) Read the new words.(2) Show the PPT of the meaning of the key words and let students make more sentences with the new words. (3) Train the students ability to cooperate. Fini
