太原六十四中单元(章)教学设计授课时间: 2017年4月25日至5月10日单元(章)Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains. 总课时数6制定教学目标的依据教材分析本单元讨论的话题是“传说和故事”,谈论过去发生的事情,重点训练“讲故事”这个语言功能项目。通过学习,要求学生掌握如何用过去时态讲述一个故事,描述古老的传说和有趣的故事,激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,理解并体会传说和故事的教育意义。在了解目标语言的基础上,要求学生能理解优美的传说和有趣的故事,掌握故事的基本结构,讲述自己喜爱的故事。语言目标是要求学生会使用连词 unless,as soon as 以及 sothat结构。学情分析八年级学生经过系统的一年多的英语学习,具备了一定的听说基础,正逐步向读写过渡,通过一年多新课程理念的熏陶与实践,有了初步自主合作,分析归纳的能力,处于知识积累,前后知识衔接,培养良好学习习惯的关键时期。他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语,减少他们的恐惧感,通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。同时在阅读和书面表达中加以落实,提高他们综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获。但由于知识的安排由浅入深,少数学生产生了厌学情绪,激发他们的学习兴趣至关重要。教学目标知识与技能过程与方法情感态度价值观知识与技能:1.知识目标:(1)掌握一些相关的词和词组:shoot, stone, weak, god, remind, bit, a little bit, silly, instead of, turninto, object, hide, tail, magic, stick, excite, Western, once upon, stepsister, fall in love, fit, couple, smile, marry, get married, gold, emperor, silk, nobody, stupid, cheat, stepmother, wife, husband, whole, scene, moonlight, shine, bright, ground, lead, voice, brave等;(2)掌握连词unless, as soon as, 和sothat等的用法(3)学生能够从时间、地点、人物以及事件等方面描述英文故事;(4)运用“上下文暗示法”解阅读题和完形填空题。2.能力目标:掌握并能灵活运用本单元的重点词汇以及相关短语,能够正确掌握并运用连词,进一步提高学生阅读文章的能力,过程与方法:通过复述故事,让学生学会掌握一个故事的细节和人物,并能利用目标语言讲述一个传说或故事。本课时主要采用任务型教学法和带问题自主探究等学习策略,让学生理解故事的基本结构,通过Groupwork 的形式引导学生谈论有趣的传说和童话故事进行口语交际和听力训练。善于抓住用英语交际的机会,充分感知,积极体验,大胆实践。情感态度与价值观:通过一些经典故事,教学生学会乐于助人,主动地区帮助处于困境中的人们。在生活中,当面对困难的抉择时,要勇敢地面对一切,决不放弃。太原市教科研中心研制 第1页(总7页)太原六十四中课时教学设计首页课题Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains. Words and phrases: shoot, remind, once upon a time, as soon as, sothat, weak, unless, god, stone, dig, keep doing sth., continue to do sth., remind sb. of sth., try to do sth.2. Expressions:The story reminds us that you can never know whats possible unless you try to make it happen.Once upon a time, there was / wereAs soon as the man finished talking, Yu Gong said that his family could continue to move the mountains after he died.Ability aims:1. The students can get the general ideas of the story by listening.2.To improve the students listening and speaking abilities. 3. To train the students ability of retelling the story.Emotional aims: You can never know whats possible unless you try to make it happen.教学重点与难点Teaching important points: How to retell a story and how to use the conjunctions.Teaching difficult points: How to make the familiar Chinese story in English.教学方法与手段Teaching Methods: Task-based language teaching method, the cooperative learning method.Teaching Aids: Some pictures, PPT使用教材的构想The textbook provides listening materials for us to train the students listening skills.In the material,students listen to a legend story-Yu Gong moves the mountains. B: They would put them into the sea. Step 6 Work on 2a and 2b Work on 2a: T: Lets continue to listen to the story. 1. Ask the students to look at the pictures in 2a and discuss the things they are going to do. When you listen to the story, please number the pictures. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know what to do. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to circle the correct words in the brackets.hand up.5. Listen to the recording again and check the facts they hear. 6. Check the answers .Step 5 Pairwork 1. Read the questions in the box in 1c. 2. Ss discuss the questions with their partners. 3.
