Lead inLeading in【情景1】Warm up. The teacher asks the students to design a birthday card for their friends.T: Now suppose this Saturday is your best friends birthday. Design a birthday card for your friend.After a few minutes, ask them to give a report.Group 1: We draw a picture of a heart in front of the card. We write “Happy birthday to you. Best wishes to you, my best friend.” on the back of the card.【设计意图】利用设计生日卡片激发同学们的兴趣,进入本课:为奶奶的生日晚会做准备。Leading in【情景2】Think about how we have a birthday in China.T: Do you celebrate your birthday every year?Ss: Yes.T: How do you celebrate it?S1: I celebrate it with my friends.S2: I celebrate it with my family.T: What do you give your friends for their birthday?S3: Some flowers.S4: A birthday card.S5: A gift.【设计意图】利用已经学过的词汇和短语,谈论如何庆祝生日,和谁一起庆祝生日,了解不同的过生日的形式。Step 2. Presentation1. Show the students objects or pictures and learn the new words and expressions in this part: paper, inside, poem, rose, present, soft, have a birthday party, make a birthday card, on the front(of), happy birthday.T: Now lets see whats this?Ss: Paper.T: Yes.Now read after me:paper.Ss: Paper.T: What do you do with paper?S1: We write on the paper.S2: I draw on the paper.2. Ask the students to make sentences with the new words and phrases.T: Try to make a passage with the new words and phrases.S3: The paper is very soft.We can use it to write.We can write on it.S4: Next Sunday is my moms birthday.I want to make a birthday card for her.【设计意图】呈现新的单词、短语和句型,让学生充分掌握之后,才能很好地进行下面的环节。Step 3. Listening1.
