Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains.Section B 2a-2e时间:2017年3月25日上午第1节班级:初二(11)班 学科:英语教师:张玉 课题:第六单元第二部分 课型:新授阅读课 课时:第三课时【第一项:项目准备】(一)课前预习1掌握本文字词,熟读全文,了解文章大意,每组1、2、3号学生必须要做到提前预习好文章,全组同学们对有疑惑的地方都可以做好记号。2对我们英语课和口语课上所学到的有关中西方故事有一个小总结和回顾,有条件和能力的学生(如1-3号学生)可以提前对要改编的故事简写出一个大纲并准备道具,方便小组活动时做好展示。(二)情境导入 本单元的主要话题是童话故事短剧,无论是西方国家还是我们中国都有很多童话故事和童话短剧以及各个名著小说,为了让学生们对各种故事有一个初步了解,我们在英语课和外教口语课上都准备了各种特色活动,比如英语故事缩写或是改编经典故事或电影开头等。我们石家庄外国语教育集团(原石家庄43中),非常关注学生们的各方面发展,努力培养学生们在德智体美特创方面全方位发展,为社会输送更多更好的创新型人才。而这种特色活动的重要性和必要性在于: (一)可以丰富学生的课余生活,通过自觉自愿的健康的实践活动,有效地培养学生优良的思想道德品质。 (二)能够促成学生在全面发展的基础上充分发挥各自的特长,适应学生多种需要和个性差异,培养、发现和选拔各种专门人才。 (三)能够使学生多渠道地获得即时信息,扩大知识面,开阔视野。 (四)可以使学生手脑并用,培养学生的独立性、创造性。此外,学生参加各种外语特色活动还能够发展学生的艺术兴趣,陶冶学生的高尚情操。调节大脑,提高学习效率,使他们愉快活泼,活跃身心,增进学生的学习兴趣。【第二项:项目设置】 Act out your own play with your group members!【第三项:项目实施】1. Guessing game: Guess the name of the story, according to the clues.2. Read and Answer: Ask students to read the passage as fast as they can. Later we will talk about the questions together.3. Read and Think: Talk about the details.4. Read and Play: 1) Listen to the tape and follow it in a low voice. 2) Lets read the conversations in scenes with passion!5. Share and Learn: Find the cool sentences by yourselves, share them with us, later talk about the key structures and practice them together!6. Think and Summarize: Think about the personalities of the characters7. Challenge and Show: The students have two choices. Choice one: Recreate the play of Hansel and Gretel, then perform it! Choice two: Change a story you like into a play, then act it out with your group members! Remind them of using the key points.8. Show Time9. Maxine says: Never give up when you meet difficulties! Believing in yourself is better than depending on others!10. Congratulate the best group.11. Homework.【第四项:交流展示及评价激励】Teacher: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!Students: Good morning, Maxine!Teacher: Class begins! Are you ready? Be active, ok?Students: Ok!Teacher: Today we are going to talk about Unit 6 Section B from 2a to 2e. This is todays project, lets read it together! Act one two!Students: Act out your own play with your group members! First of all, play a guessing game together. Lead into our topic through the game. The key of the last guessing game is Hansel and Gretel.Teacher: Wonderful! Actually, Hansel and Gretel are our main characters in todays class. What happened to them? Lets read the passage as fast as you can, then find the answers to the questions.After answering the questions, we will go on talking about the details of the passage. Teacher: Read the passage carefully, think about the three questions while you are reading. Tony! Read the questions for us.Then give the students three minutes to read the passage again, later choose some of them to answer. Teacher: Well done! Now how about listening to the tape and follow it in a low voice?We read the passage over and over again, so do you find some cool sentences? Share and learn about them. Talk about the key points, practice them by translating. Teacher: At present, in my opinion, you must be familiar with these characters. What do you think of them?After students discussion, I will give them a conclusion.Hansel:smart, brave.Gretel:naive, clever.Wife:bad, wicked.Husband: weak, coward.Witch:evil, stupid .Teacher: As we all know, the personalities of each character. How about playing the conversations in scenes with passion! Who wants to the first pair? (Read the passage in three parts, firstly from Scene one to Scene three. Then from Scene four to Scene six, at last from Scene seven to the end. ) You are doing well today! Since we have talked so much about Hansel and Gretel, if I give you a chance to recreate the play, what do you want to write? Or you can change a story you like into a play, then act it out with your group members! Lets have a try, group time!Later choose one or two groups to show their play according to the time.
