创造生活化的英语课堂whats the matter 教学设计江西省南昌市红谷滩新区生米中学 聂县秀一、 内容简析本设计为新人教版新目标Go for it! 教材八年级上册unit 1 的内容,本单元话题为whats the matter,本课属于听说部分。在本课里学习了身体部位的单词以及疼痛、生病,have a cold, have a fever等的表达。同时要学会提出建议,学会情态动词should 及shouldnt 的用法。通过听说训练,让学生进行一系列交际训练的同时,掌握目标语言。二、 目标定位本单元的重、难点是学生能较熟练地在口语交际中学会如何谈论疾病并提出建议,能自如地运用所学英语进行实际的交流。能够大胆、自然地用英文交谈,有表达的勇气和积极性,能做到语音、语调清晰、准确。在教师设定的小组活动中国,能够实现全员参与,各得其所。(一) 知识目标1、100%的学生学会询问病情。2、100%的学生学会表述病情以及身体的不适。3、大部分学生学会提出建议。4、所有学生掌握目标语言(1)词汇:neck, head, nose, headache, toothache, dentist, fever, stomach(2)能在交流中运用句型:Whats the matter?I have a headache. I have a sore back.You should drink some tea.That sounds like a good idea.(3)语法功能:h-questions.(二)情感态度学会关心他人,学会健康饮食,学会交流与合作。(三)学习策略1、 Personalizing 2、 Inferring vocabulary3、 Role play4、 Group and pair work.三、 方法选择1、 运用“组内合作,组间竞争”日小组合作机制来评价教学过程。2、 恰当运用多媒体辅助教学,提高课堂效率以及增加趣味性。3、 以学生为中心,开展Role play, group work英语教学活动。四、 教学流程环节一 warming upPlay a song for all to sing along with -HEAD AND SHOULDERS. While singing, touch the part that is mentioned in the song.设计意图这首英文歌曲题材特别适合本节课,涉及部分身体部位的学习,让学生提前了解了这方面的知识,为下面做好了铺垫.环节二 Presentation(一) Body parts1、T: Look at this photo, lets say out the names of the body parts .eareyemouthnoseteethlegheadarmhandfootneckstomachback2、1a: Look at the picture. Write the correct letter a-m for each part of the body._ arm _ back _ ear _ eye _ foot _ hand _ head _ leg _ mouth _ neck _ nose _ stomach _ tooth(二)Talking about health problemsT: The body parts help us do many things. So we should take care of them. But sometimes the body part has problems. T: Look at the picture again. Guess : Where are they? What does the woman in white do? Do they look well?1、 Whats the matter with the girl.(课件出示图片)She has a running nose. It means she has a cold.(让学生猜测词组的意思)2、 教学ache?/ ek/T: Whats the matter with the people in other pictures.(出示图片) He has a stomachache/ stmkek / She has a toothacheT: Who can find out how to use ache.(Yes, it is put after the body part. (2) Listen and number the pictures 1-5 in the order you hear them.2、2b(1)(听前预测)Discuss: Look at the pictures again. Try to match them with the advice.(2)2b Listen again. Match the problems with the advice. (3) T: What should they do?设计意图本环节是任务型听力训练法,听前进行的说话和预测活动,既有利于口语的训练,也是听力指导。环节三 Production(一)role playT: Would you like to be a doctor? Do you sometimes go to see the doctor? Now please make a dialogue in pairs to present the scene in the hospital. You may use the expressions given below.Patients: I have a How often do I take the medicine? When should I take the medicine? Thats a good idea. All right.Doctor: You should/shouldnt take some medicine , Drink Lie down Have a good rest Sleep early I hope you get better soon(5minutes later)T: Get the volunteers to act out in front of the class.设计意图“体验,就是亲身经历,就是联系自身的体验。”创设生活化的教学情景更有利于激发学生的英语思维,更能实现学以致用的原则。让学生在一个free-controlled状态下进行英语创作。学生通过再现自己的看病经历,学会运用已知的知识,这种比较真实地活动设计给学生更多的展示空间。(二) Group workT:There are sayings “A close mouth catches no files” and “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”.
