The new words in Unit 1. Read the new words and phrases. 1. Well learn the new words in Unit 1 by asking some questions by me and answering the questions by the students in order to learn the new words and consolidate them. 2. I read them,the students read after me,then read together and learn them by themselves for a few minutes. Warming up:Activity 1 in Unit 1 (Match the words in the box with the people) Warming up:Activity 2 (Listen and check the answer to Activity 1) Read the instructions with the whole class Students work in pairs to do it. Call back suggestions from the pairs in a whole class situation. Ask the students to do it,check with their partner Call back the answers from the whole class. Ask the students to read through the conversation by themselves.Then play the conversation and have them follow.Play the reording,pausing for the students to repeat chorally and individually.At the same time well do with the key teaching points.And find out the sentences with the Passive voice. Be+p.p/ am/is/are+p.p 1.-2.-3.- Students work in pairs to practice the conversation,asking them to change roles when they have done it once.
