Unit 4 Why dont you talk to your parents?Section A 1 (1a-2c)一、教学目标: 1. 知识目标: 能掌握以下单词:allow, wrong, guess, deal, work out 能掌握以下句型: Whats wrong? Im really tried because I studied until midnight last night. You could give him a ticket to a ball game. I think you should ask your parents for some money. Why dont you talk to him about it? 2.技能目标: (1)能够运用所学知识谈论问题和困难、提出建议并做出选择; (2)能根据对方所提出的问题,给出一些合理的建议。 3.情感态度价值观目标: (1)培养学生良好的合作意识,鼓励学生大胆表达自己的想法和意愿。 (2)正确认识生活中的一些困难,能采用正确的方式解决生活中的问题。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) Talk about the problems. 2) Learn the new language points. 2. 教学难点:能根据对方所提出的问题,给出一些合理的建议。 学会表达建议的一些方式。三、教学过程Step 1: Warming up1.Sing a song: Proud Of YouT: Today I prepare a song for you.Lets sing along with it. Students sing togeter. T: Do you like it?As the song says:teaching me to love with heart and helping me to open my mind. Who will do these things for us?If you have and trouble in your daily life,who will you talk to?They might be our parents.So in this lesson,we are going to learn Unit4(板书标题)2.Show the teaching aims(见教学目标或幻灯片)Step 2 : Learning 1.Talking Look at these problems. Do you think they are serious or not? Ss discuss with their partners and give some advice. I have to study too much so I dont get enough sleep. I have too much homework so I dont have any free time to do things I like. My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends. I have too many after-school classes. I got into a fight with my best friend.2. Listening: 1b 1. T: Tell Ss to read the sentences in 1a again. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the problems you hear in 1a. 3. Check the answers with the Ss. 3.Pair work 1.Did you hear the advice? Students have discussion. 2.T: Do you know how to give advice ?Students talk about how to give advice.(总结并板书句型)Why dont you.?Why not.?You could/should.How/What about doing?Youd better do.3. Make a dialogue.Work in pairs.4. Listening: 2a 2b1.Peter had a fight with his best friend and peters friend is giving him advice.Listen .Fill in the blanks with could or should.Then check the answers.2. Can you tell us the differences between them?3. Students have a discussion.4. Listen again.Finish 2b.Step 3 : Practice 1.Make a dialogue and then act it out.
