When planning the facility, the anticipated compressed air, gas, electricity and shielding gas consumption must be estimated and stated. The minimum standard shall be defined by the Other Applicable Documents, insofar as these do not contradict the law specific to the country concerned. The Contractor shall be responsible for declaring equipment that is provided ready for use as compliant in conformity with the Machinery Directive. For equipment that is not ready for use, such as, for example, fixtures and tools that need to be connected to a power terminal, there is no need to submit a Declaration in respect of the installation of an incomplete machine in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42 EC Annexe IIB. As regards orders for linked machines, a special agreement must be reached on the assumption of responsibility for conformity in relation to the overall machine. The operating company shall be given a list of all line installations / sections of line installations that require monitoring within the purport of the Machinery Directive and international standards is to be handed to the operating company. This list shall incorporate proposals for test intervals and scope of tests such as can be guaranteed to ensure safe operation. A list of the line installations / sections of line installations that require monitoring is attached.
