课题:Unit 6 学科:英语 备课教师:shiruijuan 授课年级:八年级教材分析 SectionA部分的主题是中国民间神话故事。主题图呈现了女娲补天、后羿射日、大闹天宫、愚公移山四个家喻户晓的神话故事。本部分以神话故事为主线,要求学生能够听懂用英语叙述的这几则故事,并能根据故事的相关信息发表自己的观点,模仿和运用语言。Section B的话题主要涉及西方童话故事皇帝方新装、糖果屋等。在目标语言方面,该部分拓展了关于故事叙述的词汇和句式,阅读输入部分采用了戏剧形式来展现童话故事。学情分析 学生两级分化严重,英语基础相当薄弱,但本单元的话题是学生耳熟能详且非常感兴趣的童话故事,学生有一定的学习兴趣。本单元的重点是让学生学习讲述故事,并且能在讲述故事中恰当使用连词:as soon as ,so that , 等等。学生虽然学过连词但是不能正确使用。设计思路以同桌对话的形式运用从听力材料中提取的课余活动的表达方式。根据人物对白总结故事情节要接要点。根据故事情节发展合理续写故事情节。教学准备 1.CD and a computer 2. 教材课时安排第 1 课时课时目标1. Knowledge Ability:1) Master the words:remind, bit, silly, instead of Master the sentences: How does the story begin? What happened next? What do you think of the story of Yu Gong? What could Yu Gong do instead of moving the mountains?2) 能够用英语询问故事的开始、发展及后续等。能够对故事中的人物或情节发表一些简单的看法或观点。课时重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课时中出现的生词:remind, bit, silly, instead of; 2) 学会询问故事发展的基本句型:How does the story begin?What happened next? 3)学会表达故事中的人物或情节,并发表一些简单的看法或观点。 What do you think of / about the story of Yu Gong? When you listen to the story, please number the pictures.1. Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know what to do. 1) A man saw Yu Gong and his (children / family) when they were working on moving the mountains.2) He told Yu Gong he could never do it because he was old and (poor / weak).3) As soon as the man finished (talking /speaking), Yu Gong said that his family could continue to move the mountains after he died.4) Finally, a god was so moved by Yu Gong that he sent (two / three) gods to take the mountains away.5) This story reminds us that you can never (know / see) whats possible unless you try to make it happen. 考查学生对本节课话题的熟悉程度,在听力材料加难的情况下,是否能够完成练习任务检测学生的语言运用能力及挖掘学生的表演才能.Role-play 1.
