Unit 2 Part A Lets learn说课稿马营中心学校 五年级 英语 马黎明It is not a long history that English is as a subject in primary school in our country and the main instructional aims of teaching English in primary school is to cultivate pupils basic abilities of their listening , speaking, reading and writing and their good sense of the English language. And t is very important to develop their keen interest in English.I.Contents: Today Im going to talk about Part A of Unit 2, PEP Primary English, Book 5. This lesson includes two parts: Lets learn and lets chant. In section 1, the words and phrases: Saturday, Sunday, do homework, read books, watch TV will be learned. And the sentences :What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays? I often ” will be talked about. In section 2, in mainly deals with the chant.II.Teaching aims1. Aims on the knowledge:Enable the Ss to listen, speak, read and write the words and phrases: Saturday, Sunday, do homework, read books, watch TV .Enable the Ss to understand and speak: What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays?. I often do my homework. Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations.Enable the Ss to understand and say the chant, and try to make a new chant by themselves. 2. Aims on the abilities To develop Ss abilities of listening , speaking, reading and writing. To train the Ss ability of working in groups. To foster Ss abilities of communication and their innovation. 3. Aims on the emotion To foster Ss consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition. To lead Ss to be in the good habit of making time on the weekend.III. Key-points of this lesson(1) To help Ss learn the words and phrases: Saturday, Sunday, do homework, read books, watch TV . The sentences: What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays?. I often do my homework.(2) To enable Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully. (3) To develop Ss interest in English.Difficult pointsTo help the Ss ask and answer the question What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays?. and Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations. To help the Ss make a new chant by themselves.V. Teaching methodsAs we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils basic abilities of listening ,speaking, reading and writing and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson Ill mainly use Task-based teaching method. I will arrange four kinds of activities: singing, guessing game, chanting and having a competition. And in this lesson a recorder, CIA, the cards will be needed.VI.Teaching procedures and purposes of my designing. Ill finish this lesson in five steps.Step 1. Warm-up and preview1.Review the words from Monday to Friday by chanting: Monday, Monday 星期一Tuesday, Tuesday 星期二Wednesday, Wednesday 星期三Thursday, Thursday 星期四Friday, Friday 星期五2. Lets chant (P14)3. Free talk about :What day is it today? What do you have on Mondays? Which day do you like?Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by singing and chanting and at the same time it provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next step.Step 2. PresentationNow Ill mainly talk about this step.1.Present the Words : Saturday, Sunday show the words: Monday to FridayFor reading the words from Monday to Friday to show the next day is Saturday.Play a little game: “ Look and say”Look at my fingers, I show one, you say Monday.From this game to learn the first day of the week: Sunday. Show the cards: Monday to SundayAsk Ss to look and read.Purpose: To present the words by reviewing the words and game is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings. Proper competition can arouse the Ss interest in English learning.2.Present the phrases: do homework, read books, watch TVFrom reading the words, T says: Monday to Friday you are at school, Saturday and Sunday, happy time is coming.Show the picture: read books, watch TV, do homeworkT: Look at her, What does she do on Saturdays?Ss: read booksAsk Ss to read and act the phrase: read booksWatch TV, do homework as the same.Play a game : choose the words to read, you can get the score: 100, 200, 300Purpose: CAI can provide a real situation for students to understand well. It will make the students be interested in English.3.show the new words of the chant and others:paint, play computer games, play football, have English class, have Chinese class, have math class,From the game to help Ss to learn these words and phrases. 4.Present the sentences: What do you do on Saturdays/ Sundays? I often. Free talk between T and SsT: On Saturdays I often read books. What about you? What do you do on Saturdays?S: I often .T: On Sundays I often watch TV, what do you do on Sundays?S: I often.Practice the sentence: What do you do on Saturdays/ Sundays? Play a game:Get ready two boxes, in the 1st box, there are some words about the days of the week; in the 2nd box, there are some words about the activities. Chose the words and ask and answer: What do you do on_ ?
