And t is very important to develop their keen interest in English.I.Contents: Today Im going to talk about Part A of Unit 2, PEP Primary English, Book 5. This lesson includes two parts: Lets learn and lets chant. In section 1, the words and phrases: Saturday, Sunday, do homework, read books, watch TV will be learned. And the sentences :What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays? I often ” will be talked about. In section 2, in mainly deals with the chant.II.Teaching aims1. Aims on the knowledge:Enable the Ss to listen, speak, read and write the words and phrases: Saturday, Sunday, do homework, read books, watch TV .Enable the Ss to understand and speak: What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays?. I often do my homework. Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations.Enable the Ss to understand and say the chant, and try to make a new chant by themselves. 2. Aims on the abilities To develop Ss abilities of listening , speaking, reading and writing. To train the Ss ability of working in groups. To foster Ss abilities of communication and their innovation. 3. Aims on the emotion To foster Ss consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition. To lead Ss to be in the good habit of making time on the weekend.III. Key-points of this lesson(1) To help Ss learn the words and phrases: Saturday, Sunday, do homework, read books, watch TV . So in this lesson Ill mainly use Task-based teaching method. I will arrange four kinds of activities: singing, guessing game, chanting and having a competition.
