I will need to plant a tree血mybedroom!我需要在卧室里栽棵树!案例Lesson17 People Love Pets!【课题】义务教育课程标准初中英语(冀教版)八年级下册第三单元第一课时第17课。 一、 教学内容与学情分析(1)本教材以Li Ming ,Jenny 和 Danny的活动为主线,围绕最常用的英语词汇、句型、交际会话等,逐步展开教学内容和实践活动。本课是第三单元的第一课,是在上一单元学习了植物后,围绕“动物”为话题展开的;(2)通过本单元的学习让学生掌握过去进行时;了解一些动物常识增强环保意识。二、教学目标根据学生实际情况及新课程标准 的要求从三个维度设计教学目标:1、 知识与技能目标(1)A 组同学掌握并灵活运用本课重点、难点;B 组同学掌握重点、理解难点;C组同学理解课文大意;个别同学学会单词。 (2)树立自主学习的概念和意识;总结所学语言规律并加以利用;善于抓住用英语交际的机会。2、过程与方法目标以设计任务发现问题完成任务的任务型教学和对不同程度学生不同要求的分层教学,来完成每位学生的任务。3、 情感态度与价值观目标通过对动物的了解,增强学生爱护动物,保护自然、保护环境的意识;培养学生学习英语的兴趣和学好英语的勇气;培养学生对未来的一种积极的态度。三、教学重点(1)掌握词汇及短语:pet 、 keep (2)识别词汇及短语:amazing 、imagnary (3)用简单的语言描述本课话题。四、教学难点总结所学语言材料中的语言规律并加以利用。五、 教学方法和媒体任务型教学、分层教学,并利用电脑、录音机、卡片等启发引导。 六、教学过程教学步骤 教师活动 学生活动A free talk教师展示课件,电脑出现各种动物图片看图说话,要求最少两句Lead inT:Last unit we learned about plants.We should protect them .So our calls are animals are our friends,we love them!Mary people would like to have animals for pets.Do you have a pet ?听、思考Answers:I have a dog.I have a cat.Extensive reading Ask if they have any questions.Encourage other students to try to answer the questions.Students read the text silently.LinsteningT:Linsten to the readings and see if you can answer this question: What animal would Danny like to have for pet ? Sentences: (1)She plays with me when I come home from school. (2)I will keep him under my desk. (3)I will need to plant a tree in my bedroom. 2.能力目标 发展学生的听、说、识、记及对话能力。 3.情感态度和价值观 通过本课学习,提高保护动物、保护自然的意识。 (三)教学重点和难点 1. 重点句子 (1)She plays with me when I come home. (2)I will keep him under my desk. 2. 难点:描绘你真正的宠物及你想象的宠物,并画一幅画。 (四)教学辅助工具 录音机、彩色粉笔、图片。 二、学情分析 有关宠物是学生感兴趣的话题,通过学生对宠物的描绘,激发学生爱护动物的情感。 三、教学方法 本单元采用提问、启发、对话、归纳的教法,培养学生的语言运用能力。 四、教学过程设计 Step 1 Leading in T: Do you like animals? Ss: Yes / No. T: No matter whether you like them or not, I am sure you know some of them, right? Ss: Right. T:Now I will call some students to write some animals names on the Bb, I will see who know the most about this. Ss: (Writing on the Bb) Step 2 Presentation T: Who can tell me what your favourite animal is? Why? Ss: My favourite animals are cats, because they are lovely. Ss: Pandas are my favourite, they are friendly. T: Ok, Do you like a pet? Would you like to have one? Ss: Yes. T: Today we will learn Lesson 17 People love pets. In this lesson, Brain and Danny are talking about pets. First lets learn new words on the small blackboard. Step 3 Listening 1. Play the audio tape. Try to answer the following questions. (1)What is Jennys pet? (2)What is Dannys pet? (3)What is Brains pet? (4)Why does Brain want to plant a tree in the bedroom? 2.Correct the answer. Step 4 Discussion From the students answers, we know their pets are different. Discuss the dialogue and fill the form from the text. Our imaginary pet is helpful to us. We should like them. Step 6 Pair work Describe your pet or describe a pet you would like to have. Write down three or four sentences about your real pet or imaginary pet, then tell your pets to your partners. Now, Id like you to listen to some of them. See if you can guess what they are.(放录音,牛、羊、猪、狗、鸡、鸟、猴子等动物的叫声,并在屏幕上显示出动物的英文名称。)Step4 Task Two A Free TalkTeacher:There are all kinds of animals and they are different . Do you like animals?If youve got a choice, what animal do you like best?Student 1:I like monkey best . Because monkey is very clever .Student 2::My favourite animal is a dog . Because dogs are our friends .Student 3: My favourite animal is a pig. I think pigs have no homework to do. I dont want to do any homework. Write three or four sentences about your real pet or imaginary pet.(练习对知识点的运用及书面表达能力)Blackboard DesignLesson 17 People Love Petspet 1、Would like to do sth /like to do sthlovely 2、play with.imaginary 3、take sb to swamazing 4、keep +sb/sth +介词短语keep keep +sb/sth +形容词duck 5、need to dogoose (geese pl.) need sb to do sth教学反思本节课的设计遵循了以学生为主体的原则,结合教材重点、难点,任务设计及课堂活动的开展遵循照顾不同层次学生的需要,让每个学生都有话可说,有事可做。通过个人发言、问答小组、角色表演、讨论、采访等多种形式,利用了多媒体辅助教学,是学生从视、听、说、写等方面得到锻炼,在轻松愉快的氛围中温故而知新,达到初步运用英语交际的能力,取得好的效果。在课堂的语言交际中,教师的教学与学生的积极参与是密不可分的。因此,我注重课堂任务的设计。任务型教学的设计宗旨是为课堂教学服务,学生是直接的受益者。任务设计要有明确的运用目的,要能达到一定的结果,要具有交际性和真实性。根据任务型教学法的三个步骤,在本节课中一共设计4个大任务,体现了由浅入深、由已知到未知、由知识向能力过度的循序渐进的教学发展过程,真正做到让学生在学中用,在用中学。我以播放学生都会唱的英文儿童歌曲为导入,营造热烈的课堂气氛,让学生在无意中接触英语,积极发言,并为后续讨论打下基础。Task1 A Guessing Game中的听声音猜动物,由听引入信息,使学生感知学习内容;Task2 A Free Talk中激发学生的发散思维和想象力;Task3 Talk about Pets and Wild Animals培养学生自主学习与合作学习的能力;分析问题与解决
