Fifty years efforts and cultivations have witnessed the Universitys process from sole dependence on electronic information engineering to all-around programs in electronic disciplines, and the University now turns out to be a key multidisciplinary university with electronic information science and technology as its nucleus, engineering as its major field, and incorporates science, management and liberal arts.学校设有研究生院、15个学院（部），另有示范性软件学院、继续教育学院、职业教育学院和网络教育学院以及电子科技大学成都学院、电子科技大学中山学院两个独立学院。学校现有教职工3400余人，其中现有专任教师2000余人，教授340余人。学校现有各类全日制在读学生25000余人，其中博士、硕士研究生9000余人。UESTC now consists of a graduate school, and 15 schools, plus School of Software, School of Continuing Education, School of Vocational Education, School of Online Education, Chengdu College and Zhongshan Institute. UESTC has more than 3,400 faculty members. Among themover 2000 are full-time teachers, more than 340 are professors. UESTC is committed to lead its students to success.二、留学硕士研究生招生项目介绍Introduction to UESTCs English-instructed master program for Foreign Students电子科技大学2010年在电子工程、计算机应用、管理科学与电子商务3个专业招收外国留学研究生，所有专业全部采用英文教学（研究方向及导师信息见电子科技大学来华留学研究生招生专业目录）。攻读硕士学位的留学生学习年限一般为1.5年至2年；收费标准为25000元人民币/年。学校可根据申请人大学期间学习情况给予全额或部分学校留学生专项奖学金。研究生修业期满，成绩合格幷通过论文答辩者颁发毕业证书，幷授予硕士学位。In 2010, UESTC offers English-instructed master program for foreign students in the following three majors: the electronic engineering, the computer application, and the management science & E-commerce. (Please check the List of Majors for Foreign Graduate Students of UESTC for research directions and the supervisors information). The intended studying period for the above EI master degree programs will be one year and half or two years; the tuition fee is RMB 25,000 Yuan per year. The university may give full scholarships or partial scholarships for foreign student to the applicants according to their application material and their performance on UESTC campus. Those who have achieved courses qualification and succeeded in the thesis defense will be awarded graduation diploma and masters degree.三、申请条件Application Requirements申请者应身心健康、品行端正，具备英语交流能力，具有与中国大学学士学位相当的学位或同等学力，幷持有两名具有副教授或相应职称以上学者之推荐信。The applicants should be healthy, well-behaved, and capable of communicating in English. In addition, they should have the educational qualification that is equivalent to Chinese University Bachelors degree. At last, the letters of recommendation from academic figures with professional title of associate professor or above are demanded.四、申请材料Documents for application1、申请人本人签字的电子科技大学来华留学研究生入学申请表（见附件1，推荐登陆网上填写和打印），原件和复印件各一份；The Application form for Admission to UESTC with signature of the applicant (Appendix 1, log in and fill on-line) should be submitted together with its photocopy;2、最后学历证书（或者预毕业证明）和成绩单原件、复印件各一份；The final degree certificate (or pre-graduation certificate) and the transcripts for Academic Qualification (all need the original one and its photocopies);3、发表论文的复印件或证明材料；Sample(s) of publication (photocopies or evidentiary material) ;3、二位副教授或相应职称以上的学者的推荐信原件、复印件各一份；Letters of recommendation from two scholars who have the title of associate professor or above (the originals and photocopy of each one);4、申请人两寸免冠照片两张（分别贴在2份申请表上）；Two-inch bareheaded photo of applicants (paste separately on 2 application forms);5、申请人个人普通护照复印件二份（个人信息页）；Two copies of applicants passport (the page of personal information);6、外国人体格检查表（见附件2,也可登陆下载）Physical Examination Table for Foreigners (Appendix 2, or download from );各种证明、证书须是中文或英文原件或公证件，否则请提供中文或英文翻译的公证件。申请材料概不退还。Each kind of certificate must be originals in Chinese or English or Notarized Documents; Translated copy needs to be notarized. All application documents will not be returned.五、申请流程Application Process1、将所有申请材料及报名费600人民币于6月15日前寄至电子科技大学国际教育学院，地址：中国四川省成都市建设北路二段4号电子科技大学国际教育学院李晔收，邮政编码610054；Mail all documents and remit the registration fees of RMB 600 Yuan to School of International Education of UESTC before June 15th. Zip Code: 610054;2、经学校审查申请材料合格后按规定组织入学考核，考核合格者，学校将于6月中旬发给录取通知书和外国来华留学人员学习签证申请表；Applicants whose documents are qualified will take an entrance examination. For applicants who pass the exam, they will be given Admission Notice and Student Visa Application for Foreign Students Studying in China in mid-June;3、凭录取通知书和JW202表以及体格检查记录到中国使(领)馆申请办理学生签证。The candidates，based on Admission Notice, the Table JW202 and Physical Examination Form, can apply for Student Visa in the Chinese Embassy.4、在录取通知书指定的期限内来校报到注册。Register within the specified time the Admission Notice has given.六、奖学金申请Application for Scholarship中国政府奖学金申请The Application for Chinese Government Scholarship1、 申请时间为每年1月至3月。申请人应符合中国政府奖学金申请办法（以下简称申请办法）规定的基本条件。申请办法详见网址/laihua/。对于具备网上报名条件的申请人，须在留学基金委“来华留学网上报名系统”填写和提交报名信息，幷将提交的申请表打印后，再附上要求的材料向所在国派遣机构提交。留学基金委来华留学网上报名系统的网址为，对于尚不具备网上报名条件的申请人，可向所在国派遣机构申领有关中国政府奖学金申请表，填写后附上要求的材料，向所在国派遣机构提交。Application time starts from January to March each year. Applicants should meet the requirements stipulated in Rules of Application for Chinese Government Scholarship (hereafter referred as Application Rules). Application Rules is available at URL /laihua/. If he meets the requirements to register on-line, he should fill in and submit his information through the Online Registration System of China Scholarship Council, and then print his application form. Attached other required materials mentioned above, his application form should be submitted to the host dispatch organization. Website of the Online Registration System of China Scholarship Council is . If he doesnt meet the requirements to register on-line, he can get the Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship from the host dispatch organization. After filling in the form, it should be enclosed with the required materials and submitted to the host dispatch organization.2、 申请人须严格按照要求如实填写中国政府奖学金申请表，提交学历证明、成绩单、学习计划、健康证明及推荐信等相关申请材料。The applicant must fill in Application form for Chinese Government Scholarship truthfully, and submit related application materials, such as academic certificates, transcripts, study plans, health certificates, recommendation letters and so on.3、 有关申请材料应在各奖学金申请办法规定的时间内由招生事务承办机构寄送留学基金委。逾期申请将不予受理。（详情请见各奖学金项目申请办法）。The related application materials should be sent to CSC in the specified time by the Contractors of Admission Service. Late application will not be accepted.
