Teaching Procedures Step1 Lead inPresent some sentences related to the present perfect tense on the big screen and summarize the differences between “have/has been to “ and “have/has gone to” 1.My father has been to Beijing twice我父亲去过北京两次。2.I have never been to the Great Wall我从未去过长城。 3.Where is Jim?吉姆在哪里?He has gone to England.他去英国了(尚未回来)4.Mr Wang isnt hereHe has gone to Qingdao.王先生不在这里。他去青岛了1.sb.have /has been to sp. 意为“某人曾经去过某地”,但现在已不在那里了, ”已经回来,侧重指经历,后可接次数,如once,twice,three times等,表示“去过某地几次”,也可和 just,never,ever等连用.2.sb.have/has gone to sp 意为“某人已经去某地了”,可能在去某地的路上,也可能到达了某地。总之,说话时该人不在现场,一般不用第一人称、第二人称代词作句子的主语。Present some pictures in 1a and ask the students if they have been there. And then learn the new words. Step2 Presentation and Practice First, check the students pronunciations of the new words. Make sure that students have the right pronunciations.Then, students finish these tasks.Task 1 I can do!1. Students finish this task according to Activity 1a. In Part 1a, 6 places are given. Please read the names of these places. (Teacher writes the names on the blackboard.) Which of these places would you like to visit? Rank them from 1 to 6.2. Encourage students to put up their hands to talk about other places they have ever been to in English.Task 2 I can listen! Work on 1b and 1c:1. Know about the names of the five museums.2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen, and students check the boxes in 1b. 3. Play the recording again. Let Ss check the facts they hear. 4. Check the answers.5. Ask and answer questions about the places in 1b by imitating the conversation in 1c. Work on 2a:1. Look at the pictures in 2a.Talk about the places in the map of the town in 2a. 2. Play the recording for the Students to listen and circle the places you hear. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Work on 2b: 1. Let Students read the sentences in 2b. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. make sure they know what to do. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to circle “T” or “F”.3. Play the recording again to check the answers.4. Read the listening passage and correct the mistakes.Task 3 I can speak!First, students read the conversation in 2c together. Then they will make their own conversations according to listening materials to communicate with each other. Then, ask some pairs to perform their conversations in class. Praise the students who do the best.Then, the teacher can list some important words, phrases or some sentences on the blackboard. Explain them in details if necessary.1.amusement名词,意为“娱乐,消遣,乐趣,娱乐活动”。e.g. I find amusement in collecting old newspapers.我从收集旧报纸中找到快乐。2. Me neither.我也没去过。“Me neither”相当于“Neither助动词/情态动词/连系动词be主语”形式,表示说话者的情况与上述否定句中所说的内容一样。“Me,too”相当于“So助动词/情态动词/连系动词be主语”。Me,too.表示肯定,Me neither.表示否定。e.g Mary cant swim.Neither can I/Me neither.玛丽不会游泳,我也不会。She likes playing basketball.So do I/Me,too.她喜欢打篮球,我也喜欢。3. somewhere意为“在某处,在某地”,是由somewhere构成的复合词,类似的词还有nowhere,anywhere等。当形容词修饰它们时,形容词应置其后。somewhere通常用于肯定句中,在否定句或疑问句中要用anywhere。e.g. He just lives somewhere in the city.他生活在这个城市的某处。I cant find my book anywhere.我到处都找不到我的书。 Step 3 Consolidation First, have the students read activity 2d together. Then ask students to get the main idea of 2d. (There are many sides to a story and many ways to understand it.) Then, ask the students to answer the following questions according to 2d: 1.What did Anna do last weekend? 2.What did Jill do last weekend? 3.Has Anna been camping?Next, explain the important phrases and sentences in details if necessary.1. I learned about the inventions that led to color movies, too. 我还了解了一些发明,它们成就了彩色电影。此处learn是“了解;获知;得知”的意思,由介词about或of引入所获知的具体内容。e.g. 1).The children were all shocked to learn of the death of their headmaster. 得知校长去世,孩子们都十分震惊。 2) I only learned about the accident later. 我只是后来才得知了事故的情况。 2. Ive never been camping. 我从未野营过。 此句为现在完成进行时。这一时态的结构为“have been + 现在分词”,表示从过去某一时刻延续至今的动作。在本句中,说话人使用这一时态来强调自己至今从未有过野营的经历,欠缺这方面的经验。又如: Hes been watching TV all afternoon. 他一下午都在看电视。 Weve been living like this ever since the birth of my little brother. 自打我小弟弟出生,我们就一直这样生活。Step 4 Summary Ask the students to finish the exercises according to what they have learned in this period.1.我去过北京两次。I _ _ _ Beijing twice.2. 大声读书是一种学习英语的好方法。Reading aloud _ _ _ _ to learn English.3. 昨天他没有去那,我也没去。He didnt go there yesterday. _ _. 4. 我了解了一些电影的知识。I _ _ some information about movie.5. 他的粗心导致了这次失败。His carelessness _ _ this failure.选用have, has填空:1.
