(oclock) yesterday morning, at that time,from eight to ten yesterday morning等。 如: Alice was doing her homework at six yesterday evening.Mike and his brother were playing soccer from three to four yesterday afternoon.2. 句式肯定式:主语+was/were+动词-ing (+其他).如:I was swimming at that time.否定式:主语+wasnt/werent +动词-ing (+其他).如:They werent listening to music at ten yesterday morning.疑问式:Was / Were+主语+动词-ing (+其他)? 其肯定回答为:Yes,主语(人称代词)+ was / were.;否定回答为:No,主语(人称代词)+ wasnt / werent.如:Was Joe reading at the time of the rainstorm?Yes, he was. / No, he wasnt.过去进行时和现在进行时的区别现在进行时 含义: 表示现在正在进行的动作。结构: is/am/are + doinge.g. I am having an English class. 过去进行时含义: 表示过去某个时刻正在进行的动作。结构: was/were + doinge.g. I was having an English class at this time yesterday. 过去进行时和一般过去时的区别过去进行时一般过去时基本用法表示在过去的某一时刻或某一时间正在进行的动作。 过去某个时间发生过的动作或存在的状态。 结构形式 主语 + was/were + V-ing形式 主语 + 动词过去式 时间状语 at 7 yesterday, at that time, this time last night等;when与while引导的时间状语从句。 yesterday, last week, in 1993, once, before, a few days ago等。 友情提示表示一个过去正在进行而可能尚未完成的动作。 表示过去已经完成的动作。 过去进行时表示过去正在进行的动作, 而一般过去时则表示一个完整的动作。e.g. They were writing letters to their friends last night. 昨晚他们在写信给他们的朋友。 (没有说明信是否写完)They wrote letters to their friends last night. 他们昨晚写了信给他们的朋友。 (表达了他们已写好的意思, 整个写的过程已完成。)过去进行时中的when和whilewhen和while都可表示“当的时候”, 引导时间状语从句。你知道两者在过去进行时中的用法有什么不同吗?请仔细观察下面的例句,然后补全空格中的内容。 I was walking to school when I saw a cat in a tree.When Sally arrived home, her mother was cleaning the house.主句的动作是持续性的,而从句动作是短暂性的,此时用_引导时间状语从句,主句用_时态,从句用一般过去时态。 While I was sleeping in the bedroom, someone knocked at the door.
