Teacher may say that:What country is this?Do you know the capital city of _?Is _north (east ,west ,south) of_?What do the speak in _?Do you speak _?Do “happy face, sad face”. Teacher reads out each question, to check theunderstanding of the sentences of the unit.Step two: Practice1. Yes, I do./ No, I dont.本节课的教学内容是以教材提供的主题句型Do you have any? Yes, I do./ No, I dont.为起点,学习3个不可数名词:paper, glue, tape, rubber bands.通过故事的学习以及完成老师布置的任务,使学生能够把英语应用于对生活需求的表达方面,有效地进行英语交际,编演自己喜欢的故事。【设计理念】国家英语课程标准明确指出:提倡任务型教学模式,把综合语言运用能力的培养落实在教学过程中,倡导体验、实践、参与、交流和合作的学习方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功,强调学生能用英语做事情,反对“单纯传授语言知识的教学方法”,阐明了课程应从学生的爱好、生活经验和认知水平出发,在发展学生综合语言能力的同时,还应提高学生的实践活动能力及人文素养。【活动目标】(1) 以游戏的形式复习单词和句型,使学生能在快乐中回忆,提高学生参与课堂的积极性;(2) 通过师生问答、俩俩对话、角色扮演等多种言语交际活动培养和提高口语交际能力和在日常生活中迁移运用英语的能力;(3) 通过听说故事,培养学生良好的听说习惯;(4) 通过角色扮演的形式,满足学生的表演欲,让学生体现参与课堂的快乐;(5) 通过故事的学习,潜移默化地渗透思想品德教育,通过表演活动逐步培养孩子们的相互协作意识;(6) 通过任务的布置,把综合语言运用能力的培养落实在教学过程中,让学生通过任务的完成体验生活,能英语做事情。【资源预备】1、实物: staples, scissors, stamps, envelopes, paper clips, paper, tape, glue2、多媒体课件:power point, 课文录音【活动过程】I. Warm-up1. Guessing gamePower point: shows the pictures quickly to have Ss guess. Using the languages: Do you have.? Yes, I do. I have some /No, I dont. I dont have any2. Do some exercises:(1) Do you have _ staples?Yes, I do. I have _ staples.(2) I dont have _ stamps.Do you have _ stamps?(3) I have_ envelops.Do you have _ envelopes.Check: Pair work to show the answers.Link to the Presentation: (T says: Do you have any glue/ paper/ tape (show the objectives )? Now Gogo is unhappy because there is something wrong with his hang glider. Can you help him? Ok! Lets see what does Gogo need.)II. PresentationQuestions: (1) What does Gogo need? (2) What is Gogo doing?CAI: show the pictures of page 9 when playing the recorder. (T: Look at the pictures, listen and try to answer.)Have Ss answer the questions.(T: Do you want to try?)Have Ss listen and repeat the sentences without reading on page 9.(T: You have done a very good job! Now, lets repeat the conversation between Gogo, Tony and Jenny.)Talk about the difficulties: Are you making something? Im fixing the hang glider.Have Ss read on page 9. And show the difficulties.Role-play: play in group of 4. (T: Now, Lets have a role-play. You can add whatever languages you like. Please work in group of 4.Try your best to Play without reading on page )Check: 2 groups to show. Others listen and appraise. III. Extension1. Create a new story: Where will Gogo, Tony and Jenny go by the hang glider?Will they need any things more?discuss in group of 4.Check: 2 groups to show.2. T: Just now, Gogo had made the hang glider. Now, Lets make something as we can. First, I want to make an envelope. Do you have any paper/staples/rubber bands/tape/glue/paper clips? (Ss respond: Yes, I do. Here you are.) Thank you! Do you have any?Asking the questions to consolidate the target languages and vocabularies. Operation: 1. Make something using the target languages.2. Work in group of 4.Check: show the products of some groups.IV. ConclusionT: Boys and girls. Today, We have learnt how to DIY a thing. Take attention to use the languages:“Do you have any? ”If someone has the certain thing he/she will say: “Yes, I do.” “Here you are.”If not, he/she will say: “No, I dont”.Remember to say: “Thank you!”V. Home work1. Listen and repeat the “conversation”2. Have a home dictation of the new words.3. Recite the conversation.教学反思本节课提倡任务型教学模式,通过教师的示范作用,把任务落实给每一个学生,让学生在实践的过程中提高综合运用语言的能力。本课提倡体验、实践、参与、交流和合作的学习方式,强调学生能用英语做事情,反对“单纯传授语言知识的教学方法”,阐明了课程应从学生的爱好、生活经验和认知水平出发,在发展学生综合能力的同时,提高学生的实践活动能力及人文素养。如:学生学习故事后,教师为学生提供线索:1:主人公将乘着滑翔飞行去哪里?2:他们还会有什么需要吗?学生明确任务后,马上开展4人小组讨论,创编一个新的故事。这样,既能巩固所学知识,更能开阔学生的思维,实现知识的有效拓展。又如,教师在学生学习完Gogo修理滑翔飞行后的故事,先通过自身的示范,引导学生在原有课文的语言基础上,以4人小组的方式制作一样东西,并要求在制作该东西时要用英语表达自己的需求。实践证实:学生在完成教师布置的任务的过程中,学会了用英语去沟通,体现了同学之间的合作和
