If you will go to the party, you will have a great timeHello, everyone, its my great honor to stand here and share my teaching plan with all of you. Im contestant No , today my teaching topic is unit 5 If you will go to the party , you will have a great time. Section A, grade 8. Ive divided my teaching plan into 6 parts. They are teaching material, students analysis, teaching methods and leaning strategies, teaching aids, teaching procedure and blackboarddesign. Next, Ill introduce my teaching plan one by one, please follow me into thefirst part, teaching material , First Analysis of teaching material Go for It is a series of textbooks compiled for junior middle school students. The central idea of it is to challenge students to gain communicative competence in the study of the language. Each unit is divided into two parts, they are section a and section b, section As aim is to make ss master the basic language contents. Section B is the expansion of knowledge and integrated use of language.Now, lets see Teaching objectives. It includes three aspects, knowledge objectives, ability objectives and moral objectives. First, knowledge objectives. in this unit, students should do their best to master some new words, useful expression and the key structure.Second, ability objectives. in the language learning process, the four skills all contribute to developing their language skill. In this unit, focus will be laid on improving their speaking ability.Next, moral objectives. According to the new standard of English curriculum, moral education plays an important role in language teaching. In this unit, through all kinds of teaching activities, I hope they can know Its a good habit to go to bed early in the evening and get up early in the morning. So theyll never be in a hurry in the morningLets move on to the next part: Teaching key points and difficulty. The key points of this unit are new words: They are the key points students should pay more attention to. As for the difficult point, the ss shouldThese are the key points and difficulty in this unit.As we know, students is the center of teaching activity; they play the most important role in teaching procedure. So next is Students analysis. Most of the junior middle school students are aged from 13 to 15. They are active, talkative, and creative with strong abilities of memorizing, imitating and performing. So Ill provide various tasks and challenging activities. The purpose is to motivate their learning enthusiasm andcooperative spirit.As far as Teaching methods and learning strategies concerned, in this unit, will mainly use task-based teaching method. Various tasks will be designed for my students. Besides, I will use situational teaching method and audio-visual teaching method. For ss, I will guide them to master the learning strategies gradually, prediction, cooperation; comparison will be encouraged in my class. Next lets talk about Teaching aids. In this unit, I will mainly use multimedia to assist my class. Besides, objects, cartoons,pictures,recordings and charts will also be helpful. These all will help in creating the language situation and enhancing the communication between teacher and students.Ok, now, the most important part of my teaching plan is coming-Teaching procedure. Ive divided it into 5 parts. They are preparation, presentation, practice, production and homework.First of all Preparation.In the very beginning, I will do my best to inspire my ss to get interested in my class, meanwhile, I need to draw their attention to todays topic. In section a we will mainly talk the future tense about a happy party. So I will start it by displaying some pictures, at the same time Ill make some sentences about the pictures using future tense. Im sure ss will be very interested in the funny pictures. After showing the pictures, I will ask them Have you ever been taken part in some parties? Do you like the party?Why? Smoothly and naturally, their attention will be drawn to todays topic. Thus my purpose of preparation can be achieved. After the warming up, Lets move on to the presentation. As we know, section As aim is to make students master the basic language contents. Therefore, in this part I will design my presentation as the following two steps. Step1, by showing pictures and playing games, let get my ss familiar with the new words and expressions. Step2, by practice the future tense and playing the guess games, let the students familiar with the structure of future tense, present the new structure if you will, you will. As Ive said, junior middle school students are creative, introducing new material or image to class is important. In order to let the students know the structure well ,in this lesson i design some funny pictures to practice it again and again. Now lets see these pictures.Boys and girls,Lets see some interesting cartoons. And I will show the picture one by one, let the ss guess the phrases, by this way, ss not only can learn the new phrases, but also can master the structure well. The following cartoons by changing the subject let the ss understand no matter what the subjects form is, the predict will not change. In this step I mainly used situational teaching method and task based teaching method. Autonomous learning and comparison learning strategy will also be perfectly achieved in this step.Step 3 Practice1.Listening This part includes 2 activities, first, guide the ss play a game , let the ss guess the expression of the little rabbit, and guide the ss practice the future tense and then complete the sentences. 2.pairwork In this part I will guide my ss to practice the new structure, in order to make the mechanical practice more attractive, I designed an interesting activity for them.Lets see how it works. I will make two ss as a group, then let one of them ask what are you going to do this weekend? And the other ss answer it using the phrases listed in the picture. After some times, then let ss change the role. The following picture shows the weather, I will ask the question: if it rains this weekendthen find some of the ss to answer it, according their lives. After this, I will guide the ss make these sentences said by them become a short article. By this way , I think it not only can practice the new structure, but also can improve the ss oral English. After such an interesting activity, I believe they can not only master the new grammar focus firmly, but also improve their speaking ability.Step4 Production After mechanical practice, I will design a meaningful activity to help ss use the language freely. Next is production. In this part, students will be divided into 4 groups, they need to have a discussion according to the topic .The topic is( read as the ppt showing). And then choose one student as a represent this group can get 5 points as reward. Through this part, ss can know how to apply knowledge to their daily life. At the same time, their cooperative spirit can be perfectly enhan
