新目标英语八年级下册unit 5教学设计What were you doing when the rainstorm came?section A 1a-2d高台县第二中学 李丽娟一、学情分析本单元要求学生学会过去进行时的结构并能灵活运用。本课主要引导学生以小组为单位进行合作学习，共同完成任务。同时，引导学生通过观察、比较、分析，自己主动发现、探究，找出一现在进行时与过去进行时之间的区别，从而突破难点。二、教材分析 本节课的教学内容是人教版新目标八年级(下册)第五单元的第一课时,即1a-2d.本单元核心教学内容是学习如何谈论过去的事情。其语法主要是学习过去进行时的用法。该时态是英语课程标准中要求学生掌握的一个主要时态。这个时态与一般过去时态和现在进行时态既有联系又有区别。学生是否能够准确运用这个时态表达自己的思想，对学生后面学习完本单元内容及往后进一步学习过去进行时做一个良好的铺垫。因此，学习掌握好本节课内容至关重要。三、教学目标1知识目标四会单词：begin, suddenly, strange ,report词组：at the time of, at that time句型：What were you doing when the rainstorm came?
