Ask them about their favorite subject in order to bring out the topic today: geography.2.Todays task:Todays task is to talk about facts about geography which contains size, depth, height, length.利用头脑风暴,唤醒学生过去所学的科目名称,从而引出今天的主题。Before listening1. Present photos in geography including: desert, mountain, salt lake, river.2. Game: who is the lucky one. Let students review the numbers.3. Use the number 8844.43 to invoke students memory about Qomolangma. Then show them a video about Qomolangma. 展示数字8844.43让学生回忆地理常识。播放珠穆朗玛视频,激发学生兴趣。1st listenT: Do you want to know more famous places?1st listen: listen and number the four places in order.Show students pictures and descriptions about the Caspian Sea, the Nile, the Sahara.让学生通过听力活动及图片文字介绍,了解更多地理常识。Fill in the blanksFill in the blanks about facts the four places with: size, deep, long, high.学生根据常识和表格内容填空,为随后的结对活动做准备。Pair-work Presentation : How to ask about the facts?1.
