To learn the following words and phrases:matter What s the matter? sore have a cold stomachache have a stomachache foot neck stomach throat Teaching steps:Step1 Greeting T:Good morning,boys and girls.Ss: Good morning,Ms Yang.T:How are you today?Ss:Im fine , thanks.And you?T:Im fine, too.Step2 Warming up and revision1) Use an English song to lead to(If you are happy)2) Use ppts, material objects and actions to review the new words:stomach stomachache foot, etc.(利用图片,实物或动作来复习新的单词很直观,很形象,很有趣. )Step 3 Presentation (为了增强教学的真实性生动性,老师事先安排学生装作胃痛,牙痛等上台请假。老师见状忙问What s the matter/the problem /wrong( with you)?并引导学生回答-I have a cold/a stomachache/a sore back.同时,教师板书.让学生跟读几遍,以达到巩固的效果。)(1). The teacher shows some pictures of having problemsT: What s the matter/the problem /wrong( with her / him )?Ss-She /He has a cold/a stomachache/a sore back. (让学生边看PPT边问答的同时注意感受并总结询问问题及患病的表达方式)Step 4 Practice 1)Let Ss ask and answer in pairs like this:( 学生进行一问一答的形式进行操练,加深对此句型的印象,并及时纠正错误。)-What s the matter/the problem /wrong( with you)?-I have a cold/a stomachache/a sore back. -What s the matter/the problem /wrong( with her / him )?-She /He has a cold/a stomachache/a sore back. 2) Use some ppts and cover part of them. Let the Ss guess what the matter in the picture is (利用图片来,让学生感觉直观、新奇、有趣。并板书重点句型。)Step5 Look at the picture. Write the correct lettera-m for each part of the body.Show the picture in 1a to the students.T: This is a busy and crowded room. There are many people it. Look! What are the people in the picture and what is the matter with them . Write the correct lettera-m for each part of the bodyT: Now lets check the answers.Step6.Work on 1b .Before listening:look at the picture again and ask Ss whats wrong with each student. Step7. PairworkT: Now, lets look at the picture in 1a. Please work in pairs , ask and answer like this:A: What s the matter with Judy? B: She has a sore
