Present the activities Ss like to do to help lower their stress2.Students tell their ideas about the activities they like to do to help lower stressStep 3 Work on 1a-1b.1.教师通过与学生交谈导人关于学习压力的话题。以下问题可供参考:Do you often feel stressed out?Are you often worried about your study?Do you sometimes feel bored with your life?Are you under pressurestress?What do you usually do to deal with your pressurestress?Do you play spots or hangout with your friends?在导人过程中,教师可呈现新词汇compete,pressure等。2.Practice: 根据汉语和首字母完成单词。3.让学生翻开课本阅读1a的指示语,明确活动目的。要求学生大声朗读所列出的短语,然后独立完成活动1a。4.让学生两人一组根据自己的排序情况,互相询问和回答彼此最喜欢的活动内容, 并说出原因。5.请个别学生汇报自己与同伴最喜欢的活动及其原因。Step 4 Work on 1c-1e 1.让学生观察活动1c,1d的内容,鼓励他们预测将要听到的对话内容,包括可能使用的语言表达。例如:Who are the speakers? Whats the relationship between them?What do you think they are talking about?What expressions do you think they will use?2.让学生朗读1c的句子,确保学生理解各句的含义。连贯地播放一遍录音,让学生独立完成1c,再与同伴互相交流核对。3.播放第二遍录音,学生检查自己的答案是否完整正确。师生核对答案。4.让学生先阅读1d的内容,并让学生根据语境试着填空。播放第三遍录音,让学生 填写1d内容并纠正自己预填的结果。5.师生核对答案。核对答案时,要求学生必须朗读全句而不是只给出填空的单词。6.教师领读1d的句子,再请个别学生朗读,获取反馈,纠正语音语调。7.角色扮演。 8. What activities do you want to do but you cant do?教师可将学生谈及的活动内容以短语的形式板书在黑板上。2.让学生根据实际情况选择自己的课后活动,如有其他活动,可列在2a的选项下面的空白处。3.学习单词:opinion ,cut out, cause, skill, crazy, football, soccer ball, push 4.Practice: Sharp eyes速读单词并译成汉语。 5.让学生浏览2b的指示语以及2b所列的两个问题,预测课文的中心大意,明确第一遍阅读的目的。6.学生阅读课文,说出文章的中心大意,做Scan and match,如学生有困难,教师可提供几个短语选项供学生选择,然后让学生再读做判断正T误 F和配对训练。 7.要求学生仔细阅读课文,根据2c所提供的含义找到文中可匹配的新词汇。学生两人结对讨论匹配结果,找出文中线索,说出猜测词义的依据。师生核对答案,学生回答时,必须解释猜测的依据。8.读后讨论。将学生分成四人小组,要求各组成员根据2e的问题和同学的实际情 况,彼此询问课外活动的内容并对这些活动发表看法和建议,在对话中应尽量使用本单元所学过的语言项目。 Step6 Summary1.学习并熟练掌握下列词汇。member, pressure, compete,compete with opinion ,cut out, cause, skill, crazy, football, soccer ball, push 2.学习并熟练掌握下列句型。Although you may be unhappy with your parents, you should talk to them.Life shouldnt just be about grades.
