Automatic self-cleaning filter Operation manual Model CNAF-JTBeijing Luolun (Excel Ethics) filtration Equipment technology Co., Ltd1 Product introductionFiltration is one important part of water purification, which filters the impurity in order to achieve the purpose of water treatment or protection. Traditional net filtration approaches have been widely applied in water treatment and industrial water recycling system owing to its good filtration result and small resistance. However, these approaches have the limit of volume of impurity to be treated, easily blocked and complicated cleaning process which must be cleaned after the whole system is disassembly. This kind of cleaning process loses the monitor and lowers the automation for whole system. Automatic cleaning filtration filters the grey water and automatically cleans the filter without stopping supplying the water. The system is fully automatic and treats big volume of grey water. Picture 12 Serviceable rangeJT- automatic self-cleaning filter widely applied in circle or acyclic cooling waters system, heat exchanging system, central air-conditioning system, and central heating system, hot-water boiler, which are used to protect cooling equipment, heating exchanging system, air condition and boiler. It is suitable to industry circulating water filtrations, such as steel system, petroleum chemical industry, metallurgy, electron, papermaking, food.This equipment requests water temperature flow the filter cant surpass 95.The request of water quality: The suspended substance in water is smaller than 60mg/L, suspended substance can be allowed to achieve 110mg/L in the short adequate time. If the water quality cannot meet the requirements, it needs to pretreatment before enter to the inlet.3 Product functions and characteristics3.1 product functionsAutomatic cleaning filtration system filters the grey water and automatically cleans the filter without stopping supplying the water. The system has two control types: Manual and automatic. Automatic control: There are two ways for automatic control. One is timer and the other is pressure difference. Set the time for the filtration on the timer. When it finishes the cleaning process starts automatically. In the meantime, the control system compares the system pressure difference with pre-set pressure difference. If both differences meet together the system starts the automatic cleaning. The duration is set by the timer. When the cleaning finishes the system goes back to the initial state and is ready for the next cycle. Manual control: Turn the switch to the manual and it starts to clean the filter manually. Customers can choose any model of control according to the need. Please see the details of operation in the operation section. 3.2 product Characteristics1) The default filter fitness is 100 microns and optional from 100 microns to 3000 microns. Moreover, its filter area is large, the pollutional load is high, and user can setting according to actual working condition.2) It is easy to operate automatic cleaning under the electronic monitor. All parameters for the control system can be adjusted. 3) The system has designed for the over-load motor protector. 4) The system features in non-stop supply of water when the cleaning is processed. It consumes little water to clean. When the equipment parameters cannot satisfy the user request, the user can act according to the actual operating mode to set various parameters, or selects ways such as hand control, automatic timing control to carry on the work correspondingly. When runs for the first time, please carry on according to the below step:Inspects the filter whether to be at the normal work condition:Whether the pollution discharge tube has been connected, length of blowdown pipe cant surpass 15 meters, cannot have the upward inclination angle, in order to avoid has the back pressure. Examine each joint whether reliable. Examine that the electric cabinet is dry. Power-on, the green power light turn bright, indicated that electrical controlled part is at the normal work condition, the equipment can put into serviceNotes: maintain hands dry while inserts the electric power source. Meanwhile maintain electric control part is dry during the filter working, cannot let the water enter into.9 Install and transport 9.1 Power connection Please choose power socket following the hints about voltage and power on the nameplate, select 1.5 mm2 or 2 mm2 wire and switch-in input terminal to the bottom of the electrical cabinet, as shown in picture 3. Please install the triphase power according to the picture 3.Picture 39.2 The connection about control box(1) Electrical motor connection: The electrical motor triple-phase line switch-in U3, V3, and W3 separately; the groundwire switch-in PE. As shown in picture 4, they switch-in end board on the right of the electrically controlled box bottom. (2) Solenoid pilot actuated valve connection: the red line switch-in the electrically controlled box 104 terminator, the black line to switch-in the electrically controlled box N terminator. The olivine lines switch-in the electrically controlled box PE terminator. As shown in picture 4, they switch-in end board on the right of the electrically controlled box bottom. (3) Pressure gage switch connection: The NO terminator switch-in the electrically controlled box 102 terminator, the COM termination switch-in the electrically controlled box 108 terminator. As shown in picture 4, they switch-in end board on the right of the electrically controlled box bottom. Pressure switchSolenoid pilot actuated valveElectric motorPicture 49.3 Installation and precaution 1) The arrow indicates the water flow direction. The filtration needs to be installed by this direction. 2) Sewage pipe should be French connected onto the water solenoid valve. The pipe should not be longer than 15 meters and no angles allowed in order to avoid the pressure difference. 3) There are two ways of filter installation. See Picture 57. Please note the water flow direction must be correct and the water solenoid valve should be installed at a horizontal level or at lower place in order to have a full cleaning.Picture 5Picture 64) The filter should use a tandem combination. To guarantee uninterrupted water supply when overhauling the device for water treatment, We suggest you established the bypass in the system, the inlet and outlet of filter and the bypass should install the cut-off to use the valve, for example: The cut-off valve, the reed valve and so on.5) The selection of filter specification should match to the pipeline installation. For example: The system caliber is 10, thus you may choose filter of specification 10. When the flow rate cannot satisfy the pipeline requests, users may use the way of parallel connection, as shown in picture 7 Picture 76) The filter should install before the water equipment which system need to be protected, the installation should approach to the protected device as far as possible.7) Install the check valve in the outlet of the filter in the place may cause backflow. 8) In the dynamic system, the filter should install between the pump and the equipment, more approaches the equipment to be better. If pressure between the pump and equipment surpasses filters EP, should install the filter before the pump, and approach the pump as far as possible.9) Installation of the electrical Controllers: When electric control leaving the plant, to be fixed according to default position. If the actual position is different from the default position, users can dismantle four erection bolts used fixed electric cabinet, after adjusting the electric cabinet bracket and electric cabinets correct direction, and then fix the four erection bolts. 10) Choose the reasonable installation environment, pay attention to waterproofing, rainproof, and moisture-proof. 11) Before leaving the plant, the products have been debugged, user should not disassemble or debug at will.10 Operation ST series has manual and automatic way of cleaning. The control panel is as follows in the picture 10. Picture 10 10.1 Manual Turn manual/auto to manual position. See picture 10. Motor and water control are connected to the power. The water valve opens and it stars to clean. Turn the manual/auto to auto the system goes into automatic process. Manual control is a way to check whether the motor and water valve work properly. If the system cant clean normally when it is under manual and it cant do under auto. 10.2 Auto Turn to auto position. Set the filtration time and cleaning time on timer. The set up figures are displayed in the bottom of the timer and the counting figures are displayed on the top of the timer. Timer setting: Press the select button and the first digit pipe flashes. Press the “up” button to adjust the figure and press the select button. The second digit pipe flashes. Use this way to adjust all figures for the time. When the setting is done the digit pipe will flash 8 times and the figures are saved to the memory where all data wont be lost even the power is off. Press the start button the timer begins to count the time. If the power is off the timer will count the time when the power is back next time. The filtration time measures in minute. The maximum time is 9999 minutes. The cleaning time measures in second. The maximum time is 99.99 seconds. Turn to auto state when the power is on. The filtration process starts for a duration that sets in the timer. In the meanwhile the pressure difference switch also compares the pressure difference between the real situation and the figure that is set up initially. If the duration of time for filtration is up but the pressure differences havent met then the system also starts to open the cleaning valve and begin to clean. The time of cleaning is being counted. When the time of cleaning ends the cleaning valve closes. New cycle begins. In the other situation, if the of duration of time set on the timer hasnt elapsed and the pressure differences have met each other then the system also open the cleaning valves and starts cleaning. The filter stops counting and cleaning process starts to count the time. The system will repeat the process time by time. Picture 11Adjustment of Pressure difference indicator (Picture 11) The pressure difference indicator has been set in the factory and the pressure difference is 0.5 Bar. There is an adjusting screw on the low pressure end of the indicator. One clockwise turn increase the pressure difference by 0.06Bar. One anticlockwise turn decrease the pressure difference by 0.06Bar. E.g. If the current pressure difference is 0.5Bar and needs to be changed to 0.2Bar, 5 anticlockwise turns are needed. Vice versa. Adjustment of pressure difference: the indicator can be uninstalled from the system and connect its high pressure end to the pressure-increase equipment and pressure meter if the indicator needs to be adjusted. Observe the movement of indicator. Increase the pressure to the figure needed on the high pressure end. E.g. 0.5Bar is needed for the pressure difference indicator. Turn the adjusting screw when the pressure meter reads 0.5Bar. If the screw moves to the figure of 0.5Bar it is the figure for the pressure difference indicator.
