GreetingT: Good morning, class! How are you today?Ss: Good morning! Fine, thank you. And you?T: Im fine, too.2. Free TalkT: Whats the date today?S1:Its April 2.T: What day is it today?S2: Its Wednesday.T: What do you often do after school?S3: I often play basketball.T: You are happy to do after-school activities. Today we will learn about them.设计思路:使用亲切、贴近生活的问候语言拉近师生关系,带学生自然进入英语氛围。Step II New Concepts (20 minutes)1.Lead-in : Ask and Answer: (2 minutes)T: What activities do you usually do after school? (The teacher presents the pictures to help students to answer the question.)T: What are you going to do after school?S1: Im going to watch TV.S2: Im going to play basketball.The teacher writes “be going to ” on the blackboard, and lets students answer the questions with the help of pictures on the PPT. Help students to know how to use “be going to”.设计思路:运用直接提问法创设情境,引导学生思索想象。再通过幻灯片演示,直观感受课题情境。2. New words (2 minutes)T: Before we know about what happens to Jim, lets learn some new words. The teacher lets students read the new words and give them time to recite.3. Listen (2 minutes)T: Jim wants to invite Steven to have a dinner at his home, so he asks Steven some question about his plans after school. But what is Jim going to do this week? Now listen and try to finish Exercise 1 on Page 51. Tick the pictures.4. Read (5 minutes)T: Just now we listened to the tape, and we know what Jim is going to do this week. Now read the text by yourselves, please. What is Steven going to do this week? Try to finish Exercise 2 on Page 51. Then get the information about Stevens calendar. Ask for help if necessary.设计思路:主导学习,自主发现。运用引导通读策略和表格比较策略,要求学生阅读浏览教材后找出关键词和重点内容填表,使其明确课题目的,提高学习效率,培养学生分析比较的能力和主动思维的能力。5. Language points (5 minutes)T: There are two sentences. Can you tell me the ways to use practice?Ss:作名词,意为“练习”,常用作不可数名词。作动词,意为“练习”,后跟名词或动词-ing形式。设计思路:引领探索,整合生成。设计引领使所有学生都参与信息问题的对话、讨论与回答。运用实例探寻法让学生自己讲解。Step III Group work . (4 minutes)Work in pairs .
