第三课时Unit 2 What are you doing?Teaching aims1.Enable the students to use the following sentence patterns to talk about the things happening.What is he doing? What is she doing?Hes Shes2. Learn to say the following phrases and spell them:(能够听、说、读、写动词短语的ing形式)Eating noodlesricemeat and chipshamburgersweets. What are you doing?I am eating noodles.What are you doing?I am using chopsticks.What are you doing?I am eating hamburger. What are you doing?I am using a knife and fork.2. Sing a song: What are you doing?(唱一首歌引入主题)Step 2: Revision1.Show students some photos, ask and answer: -What are you doing?(学生通过句型复习三个已学过的动作)- reading a book singing a songwatching TV2.Students write down the phrases on the blackboard and read.(学生书写词组于黑板上,检查书写、记忆情况)Step 3. Presentation1. T: What do you usually do on the weekend?S:I usually(通过对话,直接引出词组)T:But I usually read books. I like reading books very much. Look, I have a book. Now Im reading a book.2.Learn to say and spell “reading a book”.(学生跟读词组,并拼写词组)3.Show the photos, ask and answer: (从What are you doing句型引出What is he doing?句型)-Whats he doing?-Hes reading a book.4. Learn to say the following four phrases and write down the phrases on the blackboard:(继续引出其余两个词组,并将词组写在黑板上,为学生以后的活动做准备) singingasong watchingTVStep4. Im listening to music / reading a book. 2.能力目标 a、能听、说、认读表示正在发生的动词短语:reading a book、 listening to music并能在日常生活中运用。 b、能听懂、会说句型:What are you doing ? Im.并能在实际情景中运用。 c、培养学生的探究能力,鼓励学生积极思维,挖掘运用语言的创造能力。 3.情感目标 培养学生学习英语的兴趣。 教学重点 What are you doing ? Im. 询问对方并讲述自己正在发生的事情。 教学难点 What are you doing ? Im.和Whats he / she doing? Hes / Shes-ing.在真实情景中的综合运用。 教学用具:录音机、卡片、课件 教学过程 一、热身复习 1、Greeting with Ss .( 师生问候并分组准备本节课进行竞赛。) 设计意图:拉进与学生的距离,激发学生竞争意识。 2Play a game.(Simon says) 设计意图:激发学生学习兴趣,复习本课需用到的现在分词,为新课学习做好铺垫。 3、Listen and guess.听声音猜测Daming, Fangfang, Tingting, Lingling 正在做的事情(What is he/she doing ? He/She is -ing.) 二、任务呈现和课文导入 在复习环节后,教师向学生呈现本节课的任务:(询问对方并讲述自己正在发生的事情)What are their children doing ? 三、任务准备 1学习课文 a、Listen and say what they hear. 设计意图:通过学生听并说出所听到的内容,培养学生听的能力,为学生的听力发展打下基础。 b、Show the key sentences and teach the new words.(次环节通过老师出示自己的照片并描述和出示本班学生的照片并遮掩来询问描述使学生初步理解和运用本课功能句型。词的教学引导学生在句子中学习,使“音形意”相结合,做到词不离句) c、Play a game. Back to back then ask and answer . S1:Do the action. S2: What are you doing? S1: Im -ing. 设计意图:引导学生在较真实的情境中操练所学的功能句型。 d、Show 4 pairs. 设计意图:通过此环节反馈学生的理解和运用情况。 e、Listen to the tape and answer the questions. What is Sam doing? What is Amy doing? What is Tom doing? 设计意图:通过回答问题,检测学生对课文的理解能力。 四、学习歌曲 a、Listen and try to sing. (初次听,教师做动作帮助理解) 设计意图:引导学生模仿,帮助学生理解歌曲主要内容,降低学习的难度。 b、Sing and do the actions.(再次听,边唱边做动作) 设计意图:增强歌曲的趣味性,进一步巩固所学知识。 3.巩固操练 a. Pair work.(就歌曲下方的图片同桌两人问答,老师先给出示范) What is she /he doing?
