Unit 13 Were trying to save the earth!Section A (1a-2d)一、教学目标:1. 语言知识目标基本词汇:pollution,litter, advantage, bottom, coal, ugly, cost, wooden, plastic, waste.基本词组:play a part in,make a difference (to),lead to, cut down,instead of, throw away基本句型:The earth is badly polluted.The river used to be so clean.How should the problem be solved?Were trying to save the earth! 2. 技能目标: 能正确运用现在进行时,被动语态,情态动词。3. 情感目标: 有环境危机意识,学会关注环境、保护环境。二、学情分析:这班九年级的学生有一定的英语学习基础,但两极分化严重,听说读写及综合运用语言的能力薄弱,所以只能尽量借助课件,把课堂模拟成生活,并通过老师的引导,为学生创造情境,激发学生用英语进行交际;同时注重教学质量,根据本节课的重、难点精心设计了足够的练习来检验学生的学习效果。本节课根据学生的学习特点,由浅到深,逐步展开,使学生便于理解,易于掌握,提高学生听说读写的能力,提高英语的课堂效率。三、教学重难点: 1. 教学重点:(1)能正确运用一般现在时和含有情态动词的被动语态。(2)保护环境的重要性和措施。2. 教学难点:如何减少污染,拯救地球。四、教学过程:I. Lead-inShow the picture of the earth and tell students the earth is polluted now. Why is the earth polluted ? Because of pollution.(1)Because of pollution, our sky isnt blue any more.(2)Because of pollution, the water isnt clean any more.(3)Because of pollution, more and more people suffer from cancer.(4)Because of pollution, many animals were killed.(5)Because of pollution, more and more animals dont have places to live in.Can you think of different kinds of pollution?For example: (1) air pollution:The factories that burn coal pollute the air with a lot of black smoke.(2)water pollution: Factories put waste into the river.(3)noise pollution:There are more cars on the road. (4)land pollution:People should throw away litter in the bin.II. Learning1a Here are some words related to different kinds of pollution. Write them in the box below. Then add more words.III.
