Be able to ask and answer about the weather. 2. Be able to use the present progressive tense correctly. Emotional target: Encourage the students to start a conversation with others by talking about the weather.2、 教学重难点:Key Points: 1. Master the key words of this period. 2. Be able to master the basic sentence pattern about asking and answering the weather. Difficult Points: Use the target language skillfully and freely.3、 教学资源: 多媒体,PPT,录音机,磁带四、教学方法:视听法, 任务型教学法,自主学习和合作学习相结合。 五、教学环节Step1: GreetingsStep2: lead in the topic ; Present studying aims and ask students to read it together. Step3: Review ,ask them to look at the screen and answer “What are they doing?”If they know ,they can stand up quickly. Then watch the screen and learn the weather words. Step 4 Ask them to open their books,turn to page 37 and finish 1a,match the words with the pictures a-e.Then check the answer.(a,b,e,c,d)Step 5 ListeningAsk them to listen to 1b,listen and write these city names in the boxes above.Then check the answer.Step 6 Ask students to make a report(我是小小预报员) Step 7 Pairwork Imagine you are in one of the places in 1a. Talk about the weather with your friend on the phone. Hows the weather in Beijing? Its sunny.Step 8 ListeningAsk them to listen to 2a,listen and number the pictures 1-4.Then check the answer.(2,3,4,1).Then ask them to listen again.
