To develop Ss speaking and listening skills.Teaching steps 1. Warming-up.Enjoy a video and review.2. Lead in and learn new words. Look and say.Show pictures and learn to read and know new words: swimming, pool, shopping, supermarket, reading and library.1) Look and say together.2) Ask and answer.3. Presentation 1) Show some pictures and learn to make the new sentence patterns.2)Practice Show some pictures and phrases, let Ss practice in pairs like this.4. Complete the chart. (work on 1a)T: Look at the pictures and complete the chart. Then check the answer.5.1b( Pair work) Let Ss look at the chart, ask and answer in pairs. A: Is the man swimming in a river?
