Unit9 What does he look like?Section B 2a-2c教学设计授课人: 于婷婷 授课班级: 7.1 授课时间:2017年6月5日下午第五节一、 教材分析 本单元是新目标英语七年级下第九单元,主要谈论的是人的外貌,通过谈论人的外貌学会描述人的头发、身高、体型等。在描述过程中掌握本课要学习的单词、句型和语法等。本课是本单元中的第四课时-阅读部分,教材围绕三幅图片,结合有趣的工作这一话题,进一步巩固对人外貌的描述。这节课的教学重难点是在前几课时的基础上,学会整体理解文章,并描述他人的外貌,对本课掌握的好坏直接影响着对整个单元的综合学习,所以本课在整个单元中起着至关重要的作用。二、学情分析通过前三课时听、说、读等形式的训练学习,学生对描述人们外貌的词汇和句型有了一定的掌握,对于本节课教学任务要求掌握的外貌词汇和短文理解,应该不会太困难。但是,农村学生英语基础薄弱,学生的英语语言和逻辑思维不够成熟,对把握文章主旨的能力较弱,所以设计教学活动时,要遵循学生的认知规律。三、教学目标分析(一)知识目标:1. Also, they can know how to describe peoples appearances。(1). The criminal is of medium height and young.(2). He has long straight brown hair and big eyes.(3). He is tall and thin, and he has curly blond hair.(二)能力目标:By reading the article, and underline some key words and important sentences, students can have a good understanding of the content, and try to describe person by using the target language,and they can master some reading skills such as scanning and skimming.(三) 情感目标:By describing appearance, develop the students ability of observation, and know the importance of appearance description in daily life. Also, they can know and understand this truth. Appearance is important, but Knowledge is more important than it .Dont judge a person by appearance.四、教学重难点分析1. 教学重点:Acknowledge the new word and functional sentences in this part.2. 教学难点To find the logical relationship according to reading the passage and have a good comprehension of the passage.五、教学方法The communicative approach, the cooperative method.六、教学用具 PPT, multi-media, textbook七、教学过程设计分析Step 1 Preview& Lead-in:(8分钟)一、翻 译 下 列 短 语。 1.中等身高 _ 2.一点,少量_3.擅长于_ 4.金色的卷发_5.小鼻子_ 6.大嘴巴_ 7.圆脸_ 8.长脸 _9. 金发_ 10.大眼睛 _11.长直发_ 12.看起来像 _二、Describe myself 我的自画像 Hello !My name isI am tall / of medium height / short .I am heavy / of medium build / thin . T: After reviewing, lets study the new class. First ,lets look at the chart in 2a and Complete the chart with words of the opposite meaning.2.Fast readingLet the students read the article then answer the following questions. (6个小组抽签选择本组任务,到讲台在黑板上书写答案)1. Whos the article about? 2. What does he do ? 3、How does Joe Brown work ?4. Does he want to draw a good picture of each criminal well?5.Is his work easy or difficult ? Why? 6. What does the real criminal look like?设计思路:指导学生利用标记的方法获取阅读中的关键信息,学会在快速阅读中搜寻答案,提高学生的阅读速度与准确把握文章信息能力。提高小组合作能力。由学生在黑板上书写答案,可以及时纠正学生书写及回答问题时出现的问题,避免学生在考试答卷时出现类似问题。3.Careful Reading T: I have divided the whole passage into six parts. Each group should choose one part to read, translate and explain the key words and sentences. You should study this part in groups. I will give you 3 minutes to prepare.T: OK, time is up.Group 1, the first part. read, translate and explain the key words and sentences. Group2,3,4,5,6设计思路:通过指导学生精读,利用翻译课文和讲解课文重点词汇、句子的方法,促使学生对文章内容加深理解。巩固已学的关于外貌的词汇和语法,通过小组合作学习,发现未学的关于外貌的词汇、句型。Step 3:Practice(8分钟)T: OK, class, you have done a very good job, now Id like you to read 2b again, more carefully, and fill in the chart in 2c . You should write what the words in bold refer to.设计思路:小组通过合作活动,使学生由语言输入转化为语言输出。找到文中的逻辑关系(指代关系)的词汇或短语。并分析代词使用的规律Step4:Summary(5分钟)T: This class, we have discuss an article in 2b. who can summarize what you have learned in this class?设计思路:口语能力训练和表达能力训练.让学生学会自我总结和自我反思。Step4:Homework (4分钟)Preview the next section设计思路:下一部分是本单元最后一课时第九单元综合课,学生在预习的过程中可以复习巩固本课重点知识,达到复习和预习合二为一。板书设计: Unit 9 What does he look like Section B 2a-2c 1.
