Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake?海南省三亚市实验中学 一 整体教学思路设计 本单元的中心话题是cooking at home,主要围绕how do you make a banana milk shake?这一主题展开各种教学活动。并以这一主题引出可数名词和不可数名词,how many/how much问句及祈使句等语言功能。本课时旨在让学生学会描述制作某个东西的过程和步骤。通过本课时的听、说、读,来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。最终让学生能在“做中学”(learning by doing),通过课堂实践活动,能准确的用英语来表达。二 教学背景分析: 教学内容分析:Section A1a介绍本单元的重点词汇:一些用以描述香蕉饮料的制作过程的动词。并让学生根据图片选择正确的动词完成图中句子,由此引入本单元的主题。本部分的核心句型是描述制作食物制作顺序句型。本课主题图呈现banana milk shake 的制作过程,引出该部分的重点句型-祈使句。以听力的形式呈现这些句子。1c要求学生结对操练,尝试运用关于食物制作过程的表述进行控制性语言的输出。学情分析:八年级的学生好奇心强、求知欲旺盛,喜欢动手参与。所以我在教学中让学生更多的亲身体验,给学生创造英语学习环境。使学生对英语学习产生更高的兴趣,圆满的完成本节课的学习任务。 Knowledge goals:Students listen and can understand the process of making a milk shake and use ingredients.Cognitive goals:Students can tell the countable nouns from uncountable nuouns ,students can use how many correctly.Affective goals:Students can cooperate with others and help each in class.They should learn to appreciate what all their parents have done for them.三 Teaching important points :milk shake, yogurt, blender, teaspoon, turn on, cut up, peel , pour , finallyFirstPeel three bananas and cup up the bananasNextPut the bananas and ice cream into the blender .ThenPour the milk in the blender.ThenTurn on the blender.FinallyDrink the milk shake.How many do we need? How much do we needTeaching Difficulty :How to make a banana milk shake?三 教学过程分析Step 1 warming up Show a bottle of pure milk to the students and say do you like milk? Does it taste good? We drink it every day. Do you know we can also use it to make different kinds of milk shake.And milk shake tastes better than milk .Then ask can you make a banana milk shake? Today well learn how to make a banana milk shake?(This activity make students interested in the topic.)Step 2.Presentation (The teacher should prepare these things: a blender , three bananas ,two apples ,two bottles of pure milk and a knife for making a milk shake.) Point out the blank lines in the picture. Ask students to fill in the blanks on their own . Check the answers on the board and ask students to correct their own answers. (This activity gives students practice in understanding the target language)Step3 ListeningPlay the recording. Ask students to number the instructions in Activity la . Correct the answers。 (This activity gives students good chance to practice their listening ) Step4 PracticeDemonstrate the process of makingFirst show the process of making a banana milk shake . Then let students repeat . (1)Peel the banana(2)Cut up the bananas.(3)Put the bananas and ice cream into the blender.(4)Pour the milk in the blender.(5)Turn on the blender(6)Drink the banana milk shake.Then the ss watch the teacher and learn how to make a banana milk shake.As the teacher make a milk shake, the ss describe the process.The teacher offers certain help .Then ask some students to make banana milk shake.And as one student make it, the other student should says out the process.(This activity presents the content of lesson clearly and let students know how to make a banana milk shake and say out the process of making food.Step 6 Do it yourselfAsk some students to make different kinds of milkshake with the instructions on the blackboard. Then invite The rest students to have a taste. (This activity provides ss with oral practice
