Period 1 Section A 1a-1c教学目标1、知识与技能1.熟练掌握本课单词和短语:shoot, stone, weak, god ,remind, bit, a little bit ,silly, instead of, think about, a way to do sth . keep doing sth. give up, agree with sb.2.提高听说能力。2、过程与方法进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力通过图片和多媒体展示,引出各种活动,鼓励学生积极发言3、情感、态度与价值观通过课堂的合作互动,增进同学间的了解,增进感情。提升他们的精神境界,对他们进行情感教育。教学重点1.熟记短语和相关词汇。2.听与单元话题相关的短文和对话。教学难点1.学会询问故事发展的基本句型:How does the story begin? What happened next?2.提高听说能力,并能对一些话题阐述自己的观点或看法。教学方法与手段听说法,交流法,合作学习法教学过程Step 1. Lead in 播放动画片愚公移山的视频,导入本单元主题。T: Whats the name of the story?S1: Its Yu Gong moves a mountain.T: Very good. As we know, China has five thousand years of civilization. And the old tales are a part of Chinese culture.Today, we are going to learn unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountain. Now, please turn to page 41, lets look at these pictures.Step 2 1a1. Look at the pictures in 1a, and then read the names of the story in the box.2. Students discuss with their partners and match the names of the stories with the pictures.3. Ask one students to tell us the answers, and then check the answers together.Step 3 1bTask 1: Listen for the general idea of 1b.The main idea of the conversation is about .Task 2: Listen and check () the facts you hear. Play the recording three times, and teach them to tead the listening material. If the time is enough, play it more.Step 4 1cDiscuss the questions with your partner.1. How does the story begin?2. What happened next?3. Where would they put all the earth and stone from the mountains?At first, teach them to read this conversation, then, ask one student to translate them.
