What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD.2. Ability aims: Be able to ask and answer using Present Progressive Tense.3. Process and method: 通过图片导入学习新单词以及句型,采用小组合作、生生互动、师生互动的方式方法。4. Emotion-attitude-value aims: 通过本节课的话题学习和训练,引起学生对家庭活动的兴趣和关注;并指导学生正确使用电脑。. Teaching important points: Grasp the words, phrases and sentences in this lesson. Teaching difficult points: 现在进行时第三人称的问和答。. Teaching tools: Pictures and powerpoints. Analysis of the students: 本节课是继一般现在时之后出现的第二个时态,即现在进行时。现在进行时是七下重点语法,也是为八下学习过去进行时打好基础;上课的学生英语基础稍薄弱,语言接受能力不是很强。基于以上两点,我决定放慢速度,将原计划的1a-2c 一节课变成两节课,即本节课的词汇和对话课以及下节课的听力训练课。.Teaching proceduresStep1. PresentationTask1: Show the pictures of different daily activities to teach the new words.T: Look! Whats the man doing?S1: Hes reading a newspaper.Then teach the word “newspaper”. Next, show other pictures and help the students to learn the other new words and phrases.Task2: Give the Ss three or four minutes to read the words and phrases by themselves. Then call out several students to read them aloud, make sure they have no trouble reading them.Task3: This time ask Ss to change the verbs into ing forms and check the answers.设计意图:运用图片教学单词和词组,引导学生进入现在进行时的语境。精讲多练、强化记忆,使学生在课堂上能熟读所学单词和词组。Step2: PracticeTask1: First divide the class into four groups.T: What are you doing? Ss: Im using the computer.Ask Ss of each group to answer it according to the pictures.Task2: Let the Ss make a conversation like this with their partner. Then ask them to act it out one by one.Task3: Ask and answer the conversation using “he”, “she” and “they” according to the pictures.设计意图:根据图片进行对话练习,先是师生合作,并评出优秀小组,继而两人一组进行问答,练习本节课的重点句型。学生通过谈论图片中的人物正在做的事情进行口语表达训练。Step3: Doing exercises设计意图:当堂练习是对本节课所学知识的积累与巩固,并能及时检测和发现学生掌握的情况。Step4: SummaryStep5: Homework: Finish the exercises.Blackboard design: Unit 6 Section A 1a-2c (1)reading a newspaper cleaning the roomwashing the dishes listening to a CDtalking on the phone What are you doing?using the computer I am using the computer.making soup Whats she doing?exercising She is cleaning the room.
