Step6 Discussion:ask Ss to talk about:What would you like to do in the future?Have a discussion and share it with your partner. For example:A: What do you hope to do in the future?B: I hope to get a business degree and become a manager.Step7 Show Ss five picture in 1c and then ask them to have a look to talk with the partner what they hope to be in the future. For example:A: Do you like to be a doctor?B: Yes, I hope to be one in the future.Step8 Activity 1c:listen and check the hopes you hear.Step9 Listen again and check true or false.Step10 Listen for a third time and complete the passage.Step11 Activity1d Ask Ss to fill in the blanks by listening.Step12 Listen again and Fill in the blanks by what youve heard.Step13 Free talk:make conversations with your partner by using the information from the chart.For example:A: Bob, what do you hope to do in the future?B: I hope to get into senior high school. How about you?Step14 Language points: explain the key words and phrases in section B-1.Step15 Writing:activity 1e: show Ss a sample about these questions:1.
