Unit 4 Dont eat in class.Teaching class : Class 10A, Grade 7Teacher: Wang RuiAnalysis of the Teaching Material:This unit is mainly about talking about rules and making rules, such as school rules, class rules, and family rules. The students will learn how to talk about rules by using modal verbs: can, must, have to. This period Section A (1a-1c) is the first period of this unit. Language structure is imperative sentence. It focuses on the school rules and the negative imperative sentence: “Dont !” Teaching Objectives:1. Knowledge objectives:a. Be able to learn and master new words, phrases and sentence patterns in this period.b. Be able to make sentences by using imperative sentence.c. Be able to make more rules by using imperative sentence.2. Ability objectives:a. Train students listening, speaking and writing skills.b. Develop students performance ability. c. Help students talk about some rules in public places by using imperative sentence.3. Emotion objectives:a. Help students learn to obey school rules and class rules.b. Help students learn to make suggestions for rules.c. Help students develop a good habit of behavior and form good moral character. Teaching important points:1. New words and phrases. 2. Key structure: Dont Teaching difficult points:1. Be able to use the key structure to talk about more rules in public places.2.
