Unit 6 Im going to study computer science.Section A1 (1a-2c) By Hu zongli 一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 掌握以下单词:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist, be sure about, make sure 掌握以下句型: What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a computer programmer. How are you going to do that? Im going to study computer science. 2) 能了解以下语法: 通过一定的语言情境来了解一般将来时态的构成形式: be going to 2. 能力目标:学会使用目标语言谈论自己对将来的打算。3. 情感态度价值观目标: 让学生对自己的未来有一个较为广阔的视野,并且明白只有通过自己不断地努力才能实现目标。通过学习这单元的内容来激发学生们的学习主动性和学习兴趣,使他们更加有理想,并为实现自己的理想而不断努力。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 学习新的职业名词表达法以及一般将来时态的构成方式。2) 通过在不同情景下运用来熟练运用一般将来时态来表达自己的想法和做法。2. 教学难点:运用be going to结构表达自己对未来的打算。三、教学过程. Warmup T:We have learned some names of jobs. Do you remember them? Now please look at the screen.Show the students several pictures about jobs and ask what does he/she do?The students answer, He/She is a/an. Presentation 1 . Guessing game.The teacher will ask several students to perform some of the new jobs, then show the pictures of other jobs and ask others to guess what the jobs are, read the words together and use the words in sentences.2. 由话题导出句型: Now, boys and girls, Please look at the picture in page 41, How many students are there in the picture? What are they doing? Please read the dialogue in the picture.引出句型: What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a/an How are you going to do that? Im going toAsk Ss to practice the conversation using the new words. Listening 1. Tell Ss to read the words of jobs in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the words and sentences. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. . Pair work Its the time to talk about your future intentions.Role play about the dreams of them. Listening Work on 2a: 1. Let Ss look at the pictures below. Explain the activities in the pictures. Ask the students to predict what does Cheng Han want to be.2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check () the correct boxes in the picture. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the chart below. Tell Ss that theyll listen to Cheng Hans plan for the future. They should answer the questions:“What” means “What does Cheng Han want to be?”“Where” means “where is Cheng Han going to work?”“How” means “How is he going to do that? ”“When” means “when is he going to start?”2. check the answers. . Team workUse the four questions in 2b to make dialogue about Cheng Hans plans. SummaryT: Now lets look at the new words and sentences we have learned today. First, ask the students to read the new words together. Then, read the sentences in groups. Homework: Have a conversation about your future job with your partner and write down your conversation on your exercise book.
