Section B (2a-2c)教学设计教案背景1,面向学生: 中学 小学 2,学科:英语3,课时:14,学生课前准备:(1)小组学习本课时的词汇,根据音标拼读单词并牢记;(2)自学课文,勾画出重点和疑惑。 (3)能阅读有关谈论活动的文章并完成练习。一、预习交流二、 教学课题人教新目标七年级级下册Unit6 Im watching TV. Section B (2a-2c)三、 教材分析本课时是七年级下册第六单元第五课时的阅读教学部分通过时差问题引入世界各地不同人们同一时刻进行不同活动的话题,2b的语篇介绍了中国留学生朱辉的故事,展现他在中国的家和国外寄宿家庭的生活场面,语篇创设的情境自然真实,不仅介绍了中国传统节日端午节,还让学生领略到中西方不同的文化习俗。文章在最后还点明了主人公“每逢佳节倍思亲”的心态,如:there is still no place like home.四、 教学目标(一) 知识目标1) 能掌握以下单词:pool, shop, supermarket, man, host, study, state, the United States, American, dragon, young, race, say, other, children, miss, wish, delicious, living room 2) 能掌握以下句型: What time is it in Beijing? Its eight oclock in the morning. Its 9:00 a.m. and Zhu Huis family are at home. Zhu Hui misses his family and wishes to have his moms delicious zongzi. (二)能力目标将现在进行时灵活适时地运用到日常学习和生活中去。(三)情感目标情感态度价值观目标:培养同学间的友好相处,规范自己的行为,同时能提高他们的观察能力和判断能力,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情,在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,主动请教。了解中西方文化的不同,具有世界观念,了解其他的国家的文化。五、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课出现生的词及表达方式。2) 进一步练习运用现在进行时态的句子来描述他人在做的事情。3) 通过听、说、读的练习,提高学生们的综合运用能力。2. 教学难点 阅读短文,获得相关信息,完成相关任务。六、 教学方法教法:运用任务型教学法与情境教学法为主,多媒体教学法为辅,从而逐渐突破本课的重点和难点。学法:遵循“教为主导,学为主体,练为主线”的教学思想,通过学生的自主探究,积极参与与合作交流,掌握现在进行时的表达法并会灵活运用。七、教学过程Step1 Warming up Watch a video about Shenzhen and Newyork, then ask Ss where they are. Then take on the pictures about teachers friends who are in different places, and ask Ss what is she/he doing?(Use the video and the vivid pictures to attract the attention of students, arouse their learning interest, and create a relaxing atmosphere Step 2 Leading in In 2a, have Ss discuss other places that share the time zones shown in the textbook.e.g.A:What time is it in Beijing? B:Its eight oclock in the morning. A: What is Mike doing? B:He is reading a book.(To personalize the target language and prepare Ss for the subsequent reading activity.Step3 Presentation 1. Introduce some information about Zhu Hui and show some photos about Dragon Boat Day and zongzi. Let some Ss tell something they know about the customs of this festival. 2. Present some new words and expressions in the article(This design can arouse Ss reading interest and arouse the desire to read)Step 4PredictionShow some pictures and make Ss to get the main idea of the whole passage. (It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by prediction the main idea of the passage at the same time it provides situations to review learned knowledge.)Step5Fast Reading Read the article and answer the two questions. Whats the main idea(中心思想) of the first paragraph?(段落) Whats the main idea(中心思想) of the second paragraph?(段落)Ss read the article quickly and find the answers to the two questions. Check the answers with the class. (The design of this step is to help the students master the reading skills, skimming abilities. It can enable the students to obtain the required information quickly.)Step6 Careful readingTask1:Read the TV report carefully and answer the questions.1.Why are Zhu Huis family watching boat races and making zongzi?2. Does Zhu Hui like his host family?3. 3.What does he think about his home in China?Task 2Work on 2c Now lets look at the chart in 2c. You should match the verbs in column A with the words in column B. Then use the phrase to write sentences according to the TV report. Make sure Ss know what to do and write down the sentences according to the report.e.g.Zhu Hui is living with an American family in New York. Task 3Read the article again. What are these people doing now?
