第四中学集体备课教案 课题Unit7 Its raining!级部2016科目英语教学课时1主备教师兰晓玲教材分析本单元是新目标英语七年级下册第七单元,教材以Its raining为中心话题,围绕“Its raining!”展开。本单元的核心话题是谈论天气和人们正在干什么,因此如何问答“Hows the weather? What are you/they doing? Whats he/ she doing?是教学重点。通过对本单元的学习,学生能掌握本单元出现的表示天气的形容词。问天气的句式及灵活运用现在进行时态。课标理念与设计说明教育学生善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界观念。知道大自然的力量是神奇而伟大的,我们应当好好学习,立志学好科学知识,为长大后探索神奇的大自然,打好基础。 单元教学目标1、 能用所学谈论天气2、 能简单的描述人们正在进行的活动3、 能用更丰富的语言问候4、 能正确使用现在进行时态5、 能用how引导的问句表达问候本课教学目标1) 能掌握以下单词: rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather, cook, bad, park, message, take a message, could, back, problem 能掌握以下句型: Hows the weather in Beijing? Its sunny. Can I take a message for him? Yes. Could you just tell him to call me back? Sure, no problem. 2) 能用所学的知识描述天气情况。 3)描述正在发生的动作。 教学重点和难点教学重点1) The vocabulary and useful expressions. 2) Hows the weather? Its raining/ windy. 3) What are you doing? Im playing basketball. 教学难点运用目标语言来对天气进行问答,并且会问答其他人正在进行的活动教学过程教学环节教师活动预设学生行为修改批注 .Warming-up and Lead in . Presentation . Game (Hows the weather?). Listening. Pair work . Listening. Pair work . Role-play X. ExercisesHomework: 1. Greet the Ss and check the homework. 2. Watch a video program about the weather. 1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. 2. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right. Ask the Ss to match the words with pictures. 3. Check the answers. 1. (Showing some pictures on the big screen.) Ask Ss Hows the weather? 1. Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me. 2. Now, Well hear four conversations. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 3. Check the answers. 1. Tell the Ss: If you are in one of the places in the picture above. 2. Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing?S1: Its sunny. 1. Work on 2a. LetsseewhatJoesfamiliesaredoing.Pointtothe4pictures. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures 1-4. 3.PlaythetapeforSstocheck the answers. 4.Withthewholepicture,getsomeSstotellthestoryofit.5. BrainstormingPlaythetapeforanothertime.Thendoamemorytest. AskSs:WhatsUncleJoe/Jeff/Mary/AuntSarahdoing?WhatreScottandLucydoing?IsJeffwatchingTV? etc. 6. Let Ss match the names with the activities in 2b. Play the recording for the Ss to check the answers. 1. Look at the pictures and talk about the people in 2a with a partner. 2. Ask a student the questions as a model:T: Whats Uncle Joe doing? S1: Hes playing basketball. 1. Ask Ss to read the conversation and answer the questions: Whats Steve doing? Whats Ricks brother doing? 2.
