module 1 book imy first day at senior highreading and cultural corner教案一、课程分析:1. 学习内容:reading and cultural corner.介绍学生进入高中第一天的所见所闻,所学学科,对于第一堂语言课的感受,英语老师和英语课堂,班级和学校,同时还介绍了国外学生生活和学校体系,在向学生传授语言知识和技能的同时培养学生的情感态度,学习策略和文化意识。2. 学习重点: 对所学材料进行理解,分析和综合加工;根据模块问题锻炼略读和查读技能,加强对思维方向的自觉控制3. 学习难点:运用恰当词语谈论学习环境和中外教育体系。二、学情分析:学生刚进入高一学习,还不适应新老师、新环境和新教学方法,更不适应高中全英语教学。另外,本课为高一学年的第一节英语课,学生会出现胆怯害怕不敢开口的情况,因此在上课应多创造语境鼓励学生多开口,多参与,消除紧张害怕的心理。三、设计理念:1. 通过参与讨论一些与学生生活和学习有关的问题激发学生学习本课文的兴趣。2. 让学生通过讨论比较,发现高中生活和初中生活的不同,激发他们热爱新学校,新班级和新同学激情。3. 通过中外对比,了解英语国家中学教育的大致情况;并通过对比,思考我国中学教育。4. 通过任务型教学,让学生参与各种英语活动,克服困难,在新环境下进一步树立准确的语言学习观四、学习目标:1. to have the students to introduce their study and their school 2. to get the students to understand the texts well3. to help the students to improve their reading ability4. to have the students compare the school systems in china and the us.五、教学流程: 1课前准备step1 pre-reading: self-introduction this is the first english class in senior high. you are fresh to the students , so are the students. so it is necessary for you to introduce yourself to the students and get them to introduce them to you and other students.a) my name is b) i am a c) i was born on/in d) i graduated from e) i like/ am good at / am fond of f) i like -(subject) best, because-g) i hope/ think/ want 点评:本步骤是为整个模块学习做好话题内容和词汇方面的准备和铺垫,目的在于为学习创造气氛,激发兴趣。2. 新课导入step2 leading-in 1. ask students to enjoy a short video of their senior high school. and then ask them the following questions.a) what did you think the senior high school life would be like before you come here?b) since you are a senior high school student now, what differences have you found between junior high school and senior high school?c) are senior high teachers similar to junior high teachers?2. now lets read about li kangs opinion about his new school.点评:本步骤是为了导入话题,让学生在活动中,顺利进入课文的学习。并能培养学生积极的情感态度。3. 新课呈现step 3. while-reading 1. skim the text and choose the best summary of li kangs opinion about the new school.a. li kangs new school is very different from his old school. there is new technology and they speak a lot in the english class. everyone in the class works hard.b. li kang is very impressed with the teachers and the technology in his new school. the english teachers method is very different from that in his old school and very interesting. the class is bigger and the students work hard.c. the most important thing about the new school is the technology in the classroom. there are more girls than boys in the class. li kangs first homework is a description of the street where he lives.
