Teaching procedures.Step 1 Greeting Greet the students in the usual wayStep 2 Warming Warm up through a competition. Ask students to work in groups to recall the past forms of verbs that has been learned in the last period.Each group present a member to tell the past forms to the class.Step 3 Presentation 1. Students Book la, Match the activities with the pictures.Check the answers with the class. Provide explanation when necessary.2. Show a picture on the whiteboard, ask and lead students to answer as following: What does the man usually to do?He usually rides a horse. What did he do on his school trip?He rode a horse. 3. Go on with other pictures like above.Step 4 Speaking Practice Students Book la, get students to work in groups to ask and answer about the pictures using the sentences like those sentences above which are shown the whiteboard when necessary. Each group presents two members to ask and answer in their seats or in front of the whiteboard. Step 5 GamesUse your imagination and make up a story. Each student adds a sentence. If he or she cant add a sentence, he or she must sing an English song.Step 6 Brief Listening Students Book lb. Listen and answer the questions.1 How was Janes trip? 2 How was Tonys trip?Check the answers with the whole class, asking a student to stand up to share his/her answers with the class. Step 7 Specific Listening1. Students Book lc. Listen again. What did Jane and Tony do on their last school trip ? Check Tony or Jane.2. Check the answers with the whole class, asking a student to stand up to share his/her answers with the class. 3. Listen again.
