Lets go on to learn” Unit3 Im more outgoing than my sister.”Step 2 Lead-in(1a)First look at the pictures on page 17. Ask a few students to say what they see in the picture.Then point to details in the picture that show the meanings of the new words. And ask students to repeat these sentences:Sam has longer hair than Tom.But Sam plays them better than Tom.Next, ask students to draw lines between the words of opposite meaning. Then play the Mp3 for the first time. Let students only listen. Then play it a second time. Introduce the listening material: it tells us the differences between Tina and Tara. Listen to the tape and complete the chart and boxes. For example: outgoingmorn outgoing.2. Make sure the students understand the listening tasks. Then play the Mp3 and check the answers together.Step 7 Pair work 2 (2c)First ask student A in each pair to look at the chart in 2c on page 18. and ask student B o look at the chart on page 81. Remind students not to look at their partners page. Then ask and answer questions about Sam and Tom.Step 8 Pair work 2 (2c) Do some exercises.Step 9 SummaryT; This class weve learnt comparative forms of adjectives. And weve learnt how to talk about the differences between twins. After class do some more practice.Step 10 Homework1. Compare one of your friends with you to find your similarities and differences, then write them down.2.
