Teaching objective:By the end of the lesson, students should be able to grasp some new words about jobs, some sentences like “What do you want to be when you grow up?” and future with be going to, and be able to use be going to to express their future intentions.II . Teaching important and difficult points:Some new words about jobs like engineer, cook, pilot and computer programmer and so on; The future tense with be going to; Talk their own dreams about future jobs.III . Teaching method:Cooperative learning and task-based teaching method.IV . Teaching aids: A projector.VI . Teaching procedure:Step one: Greeting. Greet to thee students as usual.Step two: Play a song Be what you wanna be, ask students to listen to the song and write down the words about jobs. And then lead to some new words about jobs, and then finish part 1a.Step three: Use a funny slide to raises a question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” and its answer “I want to be a/an”Give some examples, then let students work in groups of four to talk about their dream jobs, and then share them with others. Step four: Use a slide to raises the sentence “How are you going to do that?” and its answer “Im going to”Give some examples, then let students work in groups of four to talk about it, and then share them with others. And then practice listening and finishing part 1b.Step five: Ask student to discuss about “What do you want to be when you grow up?” and “How are you going to do that?” And then make a report.Step six: Homework. Ask students to write a passage about “My dream job.”Step seven: Summary. Tell students “Hold fast to dreams. They will come true one day!” and end up with a song named I believe I can fly.VII . Blac
