Unit 5 Why do you like pandas?Section B 1a-1d南浔锦绣实验学校 杨婧雯一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识与能力:1) 学生能掌握以下新单词:friendly, shy并回顾已学的动物词汇和描述动物特性的形容词2) 能掌握以下句型: What animal do you like? I like elephants(tigers.). Where do you want to go? Lets see the elephants(tigers.). Why do you like pandas? Because they are very/kind of cute. 2. 学习策略学生能在解决问题中锻炼自身独立思考以及表达自我观点的能力。 在小组合作活动中学生能够与他人沟通交流并互相学习3. 情感态度价值观:该话题能充分引起学生的学习兴趣与共鸣,通过学习学生能加深意识:动物是我们的朋友。我们人类应该与动物和谐相处,共同生存。我们应当学会关爱动物,保护动物。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:学生通过运用描述性词汇表达个人对动物的喜好与看法。学生通过听、说的训练提升其听说的综合能力2. 教学难点 进行听力训练时,学生们能采取适当的听力策略获取相关信息。 在模拟真实交际情景中,学生对目标语言的综合自主运用,学生能够表达个人观点的同时进行协商,达成一致并进行真实情景下问题的解决。三、教学过程Step1: Warming- up and Lead-inThe teacher greets the students and talks about how they get to school, how long it takes and how far it is. And the teacher talks about her impression of the school:How do you get to school? I get to school by./I take the . to school.How long does it take? It takes .How far is it from your home to school? Its about.I love your school. Its very clean.Step2: Word presentationThe teacher asks Ss whether they like their school and what they think of the school. Ss talk about it by using several description words. Then Ss talk about what they think of themselves. While talking, the teacher presents the new description words: friendly, shy. Ss pay attention to the pronunciation and spelling and try to use them when they talk about themselves: Im very/kind of.Step3: Word PracticeSs talk about their activities at home and the teacher syas her activity is watching movie. Then the teacher shares a short episode of the movie Zootopia with the Ss. After watching, Ss talk about the animals they see in the movie.
