Step II. Lead in.Teacher: Do you know the cartoon: Tom and Jerry? It tells the story about a clever mouse and a silly cat.1. Now who can tell a short story about it? ( A boy will come to the blackboard to tell)2. After the story, other student should answer the following questions. (1) What happened to a family of mice? (2) What did the baby mouse do? (3) What did the daddy mouth answer?Step III. New lesson1. Go on talking about the simple past tense,2. Play a game: guess what your partner do last weekend, (one plays, the other guesses )3. Role-play the conversationFirst, read it freelyThen, act out,At last, answer the following questions(1) How was the weekend?(2) What did she do in the museum?(3) What does she think of the weekend?4. Language points, 1. I worked as a guide at the Natural History Museum. 我在自然历史博物馆里做导游的工作。“work as + 职业” 意为“做某工作”。 eg: 埃里克在那家俱乐部里做音乐老师的工作。 Eric _a music teacher in the club. 2. How interesting! 多么有趣啊! 感叹句结构: 1) How + 形容词或副词 + (主语 + 谓语)! 2) What +(a/an)+ adj.+ (主语 + 谓语)!_interesting the book is! 那本书太有趣了! _an interesting book it is!3. I told the visitors about them and their living habits. 我把这些蝴蝶以及它们的生活习性告诉给参观者。Eg: (1) He is an English_. (2) I _my aunt last weekend.2) tell v. tell sb. about sth. 告诉某人关于某事tell sb. sth. 告诉某人某事=tell sth. to sb.把某事告诉某人tell sb.(not) to do sth. 告诉某人(不要)做某事4. Did you have a good weekend? 你周末过得愉快吗?have a good周末过得愉快 enjoy oneself have a good time 玩得高兴 have a good trip 旅途愉快5. I stayed up late to watch the soccer game.为了看足球我熬到了深夜。 stay up 意为“熬夜;深夜不眠” 。 不要熬夜,这对你的健康不好。 Dont _late. Its bad for your health. 咱们别睡觉,迎接新年的到来吧。 Lets _to see the New Year.Step IV. Consolidation1. study the simple past tense一、用法: 1.表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用, 如:last night, in 1990, two days ago, yesterday, in the past, when I was young等。 He went to work by bus last year. I was ten years old last year.二、规则动词过去式的构成大多数动词的过去式是在动词原形后加 ed 构成。1)一般情况下在词尾直接加 ed.如: play played; work worked; 2)以e结尾的动词只加d. 如: like liked, love loved , live-lived3) 以辅音字母+y结尾的动词,变y 为i,再加ed. 如: study studied; worry worried4) 以重读闭音节结尾的动词,如果末尾只有一 个辅音字母,要双写最后这个辅音字母,再 加ed. 如: stop stopped shop-shopped 不规则动词过去式l comecame taketookl makemade seesawl buybought growgrewl flyflew swim-swaml am/iswas arewere三、一般过去时的分类1be 动词的一般过去时态:有人称和数的变化(am/is 的过去式为was; are的过去式为were.)肯定句:主语+was (were) + I was late yesterday. 否定句:主语+was (were) +not+ We werent late yesterday. 疑问句:Was (Were) +主语+? Were you ill yesterday? 肯定回答:Yes, 主语+ was/were. Yes, I was.否定回答: No, 主语+wasnt/werent. No, I wasnt.特殊疑问句: 特殊疑问词+一般疑问句+? When were you born? 2实义动词的一般过去时态:没有人称和数的变化肯定句:主语+动词过去式+ I went home at eight yesterday.否定句:主语+didnt +动词原形+ I didnt go home at eight yesterday. 疑问句:Did +主语+动词原形+? Did you go home at eight yesterday? 肯定回答:Yes, 主语+ did. Yes, I did.否定回答:No, 主语+didnt. No, I didnt.特殊疑问句: 特殊疑问词+一般疑问句+? When did you go home yesterday?2. 特殊疑问词 + did + 动词原形 + 主语 +其他? 昨天他做了什么事情? _ _ he do yesterday? 上个周末她参观了什么地方? _ _ she _ last weekend? 你和谁一起去的动物园? _ _ you go to the zoo _? 他们什么时候到达北京的? _ _ they arrive in Beijing?
