And tell students that all students must obey the school rules. Warming-up and revision 1. Greetings.2. Revision. Check the homework.3. Ask students to do these activities using imperative sentences. Please stand up/ sit down. Close the door, please. Look at me and listen to me.Dont open your books. Dont talk. Lets begin our class.Write these sentences on the blackboard and ask students to read these sentences silently.Step . Presentation1. Lead-in. Free talk.What can you do at school or in the classroom? What cant you do?Make a survey in class.2. Ask some questions about the picture in 1a.T:Whats the boy doing? S: Hes running.T: Where is he running? S: Hes running in the hallways. T:Can you run in the hallways? S: No, I cant.T: So please dont run in the hallways. (= You cant run in the hallways.) T:Why is he running in the hallways? S: Hes late.T: Oh, hes late for class. You cant arrive late for class. = Dont arrive late for class.Step . Teach Activity 1 a .1. T: Now, Look at the picture on your textbook. Each of the students is breaking one of these rules. Please finish 1a. 3. Check the answers. 4. Ask students to read these school rules aloud.Step . Practice. Listening 1. T: Now lets listen! What rules are these students breaking? Write the numbers after names?2. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen. Play the recording a second time. Students fill in the number of the rules after each name.3. Check the answers. Step . Pair work. Activity 1c.Student A is a new student. Student B tells Student A about the rules above. Ask studentsto say more school rules when they do the activity. And tell students that all students mustobey the school rules. As students work, move around the room offering language support asneeded. Step . Practice. Listening. 1. Work on 2a: First, lets read the sentences in 2a together. T: Now, lets listen to the recording. Check the activities Alan and Cindy talk about. Students listen to the recording and check the activities they hear. Play the recording again for the Students to check the answers. 2. Work on 2b: Make Sure Students know what they should do. Listen to the recording again. Can Alan and Cindy do these activities?
