Warming- up and revision 1. Have a dictation of the new words learned in the last class. 2. A guessing game: T : Do you want to play a guessing game to relax your nerves.Ask Ss to try to choose the best answer or guess the persons job.II. Pairwork According to the pictures, work in pairs to make new conversations. (seven pictures)Practice and consolidate the target language.III. Grammar Focus. 1. When _you _ to _? 我打算完成中学和大学时开始。 Im going to _ _I _ high school and _. 2.Try to findThe simple future tense (be going to)1) be going to 是一般将来时的一种表达方式,be 随主语而变化,一般表示实现打算做的事或表示预测要发生的事情。2) 句型结构:陈述句肯定形式:主语+be going to +动词原形+其他。eg: I _ _ _ study English really hard.我打算好好学习英语。陈述句否定形式:主语+be+not+going to+动词原形+其他。eg:Eric _ _ _ _ basketball.Eric不打算打篮球了。一般疑问句:Be+主语+going to+动词原形+其他。eg: _ she _ _ _ dancing?她打算练习舞蹈吗?特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+be+主语+going to+动词原形+其他?eg: _ you _ _ work?你打算在哪里工作?3) 巩固练习:IV. The teacher lights the dream tree, and Ss read “No pains, no gains” after the teacher.VII.SummaryIn this class we learnt the grammar “be going to” to express the future. We did some exercise about “be going to”. We make conversations to talk about our plans. And we did some writing and speaking practices. Everyone has s dream, I hope you can hold your dream. Maybe they can come true one day. You must work hard to achieve your dream.
