Unit 2 What time do you usually go to school?(Section A 1a-1c)教材分析:. 教材内容及其地位:时间的重要性不言而喻,生活中我们经常在谈论某人何时做了某事,在计划自己何时要做某事,可见表达时间与我们的生活密切相关。在学生学过了一些数词和日常行为动作术语的基础上,教材在本单元的开篇安排了关于谈论日常作息时间安排的对话来让学生学习认知时间,表达时间,适时而合理。学好此课又是为学习本单元乃至今后更多的有关时间的对话和短文打基础,因而学好它至关重要。.教学目标: A. 语言目标:(a).数词1-60 和频度副词usually; (b).日常行为动作名称短语: get up ,eat breakfast, take a shower, go to school; brush teeth; get dressed (c).句型:What time is it ? Its 7 oclock. What time do you usually get up? I usually get up at 6:30. B. 能力目标: 使学生能用英语表达时间和谈论日常作息时间安排. C.情感目标: 使学生懂得时间的价值,教育他们珍惜时间,很好地利用时间,形成良好的作息习惯。教学重点 : 核心句型What time do you get up ? I usually get up at 6: 30的运用.教学难点:第三人称单数谓语动词在此核心句型中的运用-第三人称单数谓语动词的运用是本单元语法的中心内容(见课本Activity 2 后的Grammar Focus),是全单元的教学难点,需各课时来共同分担,逐渐地突破,因而也是本节课之教学难点。教学用具:电脑, 投影仪教学方法:运用的教学方法主要有二:(1).五步教学法:任何知识都要循序渐进地获得,由浅入深-本节课中心环节(Step 4 和 Step 5 )是教会学生谈论某人何时作某事.Step3是为能谈做某事做准备,Step 2 是为会说何时做铺垫。 (2).交际法:学外语的主要目的不是在掌握语言结构本身,而是在发展学生的交际能力,让他们在创设的交际情景中学会知识,以便能再运用于现实交际活动中。教学步骤: 如果可能的话,上课铃响之前,我会让学生边听Anderson的名曲钟表店边欣赏一些有关时间的格言,如:One cannot put back the clock. Time and tide wait for no man等(见课件首封).Step 1 leading in (3分钟) Guessing game It has no feet(脚), but it can walk(走) with its hands(手). It has no mouth(嘴巴), but it can speak to you. It calls Tick(滴答), Tick, and Tick every day. What is it?Its a clock.用猜谜的方法引出课题Step 2.Presentation(5分钟) 1.使用提前准备好的钟表问学生如何用英语询问时间,引入句型What time is it? Its .并将其写在黑板上(根据老师手中钟表显示时间回答)这样在句型:What time is it ?.的运用中学习时间的数字表达法的读法.教师变动钟表指针,操练时间的表达法。 2.大屏幕打出一组显示不同时间的时钟(见课件)学生分组提问并根据课件显示时间回答。Step 3.new phrases(5分钟) 1.在大屏幕上投出一些日常生活动作图片,引导学生用英语说出这个动作名称,教师将其列写在黑板上,并边板书边带领学生重复说这些短语,主要有:get up ; eat breakfast; go to school ; get dressed; brush teeth;take a shower. 2.单词游戏老师说汉语学生说英语,老师说英语学生说汉语,教师不断提升语速锻炼学生瞬时记忆及反应能力。 3.完成课本Activity la ( 图画与动作名配对),并对答案(见 课件).Step 4.new structures(10分钟)1.提问学生是否做1a图片中这些活动,以及如何询问对方在什么时间做这些日常活动引出句型What time do you usually get up?I usually get up at six oclock.(并将其写在黑板上)说完时间表中的所有项。让句型特别是其中的usually 和at 给学生留下较深的印像。在谈论时间的同时,我会指着时间表中的数字,让学生去领悟时间的写法和读法.然后问学生:What time do you usually get up / get dressed.2.操练句型 Step 5. listening(5分钟) 课本Activity lb (课件): 放录音前告诉学生:Rick is a student. Listen to recording and tell what time he usually gets up ,what time he usually eats breakfast , what time he usually takes a shower and what time he usually goes to school.放录音三遍遍,第一遍整体感知,第二遍完成下面表格,第三遍核对答案。利用目标句型What time does Rick/he usually get up ? He usually gets up at six . Daily activitiesTimeget upbrush teeth/take a showereat breakfastget dressed.go to school Step 6Practice Activities ( 5 分钟) 1Pair work ( 课本Activity 1c):先向学生解释题目要求,只给学生约5分钟活动时间。Ask and answer about Ricks daily activities like this:What time does Rick usually get up? He usually gets up at six thirty./At six thirty.两人一组练习 What time does Rick usually brush teeth and take a shower?What time does Rick usually eat breakfast?What time does Rick usually get dressed?What time does Rick usually go to school?2. 然后叫几组同学做对话练习。Step 7Summary and Assignment ( 7 分钟)1. Summary T:Today we have learned some phrases about our daily life.Now I show you the PPT,and you say them in English.
