Simultaneously, I ask them: Hows the weather here? Would you like to study some adjectives which describe weather. Now let us study new lesson.B: Presentation(a). Learn the new words:Present the new words according to some pictures about weather and ask the students to read after me. I read pronunciation of phonetic symbol according to the rules of spelling and reading of consonants and vowels. They follow me to read phonetic symbol of new words. In this way, they can read any word that they havent learned.(b). Finish part 1a.Match the words with the pictures a-e.(c). Finish part 1b.Not only we can read, but can we also listen. So lets move on to part 1b, listen and write these city names in the boxes above.First of all, I show a picture in which there are three cities such as Moscow, Toronto and Boston by multimedia, asking students to guess the names of these cities and teaching them to read these three words.And next, let them listen to the tape and fill in the blanks by themselves.At last, check the results.C: PracticeShow some pictures about weather and ask students to use “Hows the weather in.? and Its” to practice dialogues in pairs.Select some of them to practice towards the whole class.D: Consolidation and summaryToday we have learned the adjectives about the weather and the ways to ask the weather in our daily life.
