Unit 2 Whats the matter?Page 8 Section A 2a2c Good morning, everyone. Im glad to stand here to share my ideas about the lesson with you. I hope that you will give me some advice for my presentation. I will analyze the lesson from the six aspects:analysis of teaching material, student analysis, teaching methods, learning methods, procedures and blackboard design.Part One :Analysis of teaching material1 .Status And FunctionThis unit focus on a very important grammar pointI have a headache. shouldnt = should no .The textbook start with the interesting topic - whats the matter., by this way, it is great helpful to attract the attention of the students.Such a topic is related to daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English. 2.Teaching Aims and Demands Knowledge Objects: New words; Some advice; Grammar Focus.Avility ObjectsListening, reading and writing skills. Communicative competence.Moral Object : To be a doctor and serve the people heart and soul.3. They can understand some words and some simple sentences. And ,this lesson about health,body , Ss have taken a great interest in English now.Part Three Teaching aids and methodsTeaching Aids : A tape recorder; A projector.Teaching Methods: Listening,reading and writing methods. Pairwork.Part Four Learning methods1. Teach Ss how to be successful language learners.2. Teach Ss how to develop the reading skill skim & scan; how to communicate with others; how to learn new words; how to learn independently;3. Get the Ss to form good learning habits.Part Five Teaching ProceduresStep I Greet the class . Write the missing words on the blank lines.(Play the recording one time only)Then check the answers.Step IV 2c Pairwork First Ill have two students read the dialogue in the box .A: Whats the matter? B: I have a toothache.A: Maybe you should see a dentist. B: Thats good idea.Now practice the conversation in Activity 2b. Im.二、教材分析:本节课的主要句型 How old are you,Amy? How old is Tony?和What about Jim and Ben? How old are they? 是三年级中的一个句型 How old are you? 的延续与扩展。从深度上讲,三年级的句型只要求会说、会认、会听;而四年级则要求会认、会写,能准确地运用。从广度上讲,三年级只有一个句型,而现在还有人称的变化,单数与复数的差别,以及同样意思的不同表达方法。同时,它与Unit Two 和 Unit Three 的句型:Whats your name? 和Whos that?构成一个询问人物基本情况,内容比较广泛的对话,这也和后面将学的许多特殊疑问句构成一个特殊疑问句型群,为五、六年级继续学习打下扎实的基础。 三、教学目标: 1、知识目标:使学生掌握询问和介绍年龄状况的句型:How old are you?/ Im. /How old is Tony?/He is ./How old are they?They are . 2、能力目标:使学生能运用本课所学的知识熟练地询问他人(或答复他人)有关年龄方面的问题。四、教学重点: 1、本节课的句型:How old are you? What about you? How old is he?等句型及其回答。 2、弄清第一人称单数、第二人称单数、第三人称单、复数与 be动词的关系。五、教学难点: 1、句子的理解与初步运用。 2、弄清How old are you?How are you?Im ten. Its ten. What about Lucy? What about you ,Lucy?等句型的异同。 六、教具、学具: 录音机、投影片、头饰、数字卡、句型字条。 七、说教法: 英语是一门语言学科,语言的本质是言语。外语教学应当遵循听、说、读、写的原则。在小学英语教学中,听说有着重要的意义,但同时要兼顾理解和记忆。处在这一年龄段的学生,形象思维占优势,抽象思维处于初级发展阶段;记忆又存在这样的特点:记得快,忘得也快。基于这些,我主要用以下的几种方法: 1、听说法:通过听和说,感知句子的发音、正确的语音语调。 2、讲解法:通过讲解,理解句字的意思。 3、练习法:通过各种练习,使学生较为流利自如地掌握对话。 4、讨论法:让学生在讨论中把易混的知识加以分析、比较、梳理、归类,便于学生记忆。 八、说学法: 语言是一种交际工具,小学阶段的英语教学又侧重于口语。为了帮助学生掌握和运用这些句子,我注重引导学生采用听说、朗读、讨论、操练等方法,培养学生敢于开口,积极实践的良好学习习惯。 九、说教学过程: (一)组织教学,创设氛围。 小学英语教学的编排特点是活泼有趣,四年级的学生又活泼好动。根据教材及学生的年龄特点,我在上课让学生齐唱歌曲:Ten Little Indian Boys.和Arithmetic song.既复习了数字,又营造了一个轻松和谐的学习氛围。 (二)复习旧知,做好铺垫。 我们知道,新知识是旧知识的延伸和扩展。在学习句型之前,我先让全班同学朗读数字120,再随意抽取数字卡,让全班或个别同学快速读两次。这样既巩固了上节课的内容,又为下面的学习打好基础。 (三)创设情景,导入新课。 1、师生问答,自由对话。 T:Hello,whats your name? S:. T:Whos that? S:. T:Are you a new student? S:. T:Nice to meet you! S:. (通过对话自然引入 Hello.How old are you?这一句子的学习。)2、利用头饰,激发兴趣。 考虑到该年龄段的学生的好奇心强,学习动机在很大程度上由周围环境事物的显著变化唤起,无意注意占主要优势。因而在教学过程中,应用无意注意的规律来吸引学生,很有必要。正好课文中的人物都是来自外国的小朋友,我制作了鲜明活泼的头饰,让他们来到课堂学生之间,创设了一个比较真实的情境,使学生兴趣盎然地参与课堂教学。如在教学第三句时,我先拿出头饰,介绍 This is Tony? He is twelve.然后请一个学生上台戴上头饰,再介绍一次,接着问:How old is Tony?这时大多数同学都会很感兴趣,积极回答。 3、分散难点,及时巩固。 本节课的句型有人称及数的变化,学生很难一时分辨清楚。在教学中,我不是让这一连串的句子同时出示,而是教一句,练一句。尽量做到词不离句地学习,记忆和运用所学知识。如在学习第一句:How old are you, Amy?时,我通过带读,学生自读,同桌对话,最后换上学生的真实姓名与实际年龄来造对话等形式,及时地把机械操练转化为意义操练。这样既调动了学生的积极性,又扩展了学生的思维。 4、讨论归纳,加强记忆。 学生通过不断练习,获取、积累了较为丰富的感性知识,但小学生自己不善于整理,对很多音、形、义相接近的词或句容易发生混淆。基于这点,我在教学过程中设计了以下题目: A、讨论下列每组句子的意思和问句(或答句)有什么不同? How are you? What about Lucy? Im ten. How old are you? What about you, Lucy? It s ten.同学们通过讨论,分析,总结,从而加深对这些句子的理解,并从中培养学生勤于动脑的好习惯。 B、单项
