Have the students guess where the students were in the first PPT?Let them guess, and I will tell them that we were in Qinghua University. Ask if they hope to go to that school in the future.I will say that I would like to know something about their school life. Ask if they would like to tell me. Have the students work in pairs and make an interview.Activity1: Work in pairs and make an interview. One is interviewer, the other is interviewee. Activity2: Have one of the students report his/her partners answers.(The teacher show the students answers in the table.)Step2 Presentation ComparativeTell the students Andy is a lovely girl in an English school. How many clubs do we have? Oh, its hard to say, maybe more than 20. We go back home early and dont have much homework to do-maybe 30-minute homework. At the weekend, we have parties and do sports. Show pictures of students test papers on the screen. Have the students compare and ask who scored the most points? And who scored the fewest? Help the students say: Amy scored the most points.Simon scored the fewest points2. Ask students how much pocket money they have each week. Have the students compare and ask who has the most pocket money and who has the least? Help the students say: Daniel has the most pocket money.Linlin has the least pocket money.3. Work out the rule. Nancy has _ oranges Step 6Homework:1. 1.Review grammar of this period.2.Finish off the handout.3.Please try to compare the things around us. 设计意图: 利用学生所喜爱的猜测游戏,将学生导入语法学习,激发学生对本课语法的学习,作简单评述,将生词教学放入适当语境之中,训练学生对生词的猜测技能,也为后续的篇章教学扫除词汇障碍。紧接着呈现本课的语法,通过一系列的活动来操练本课的语法A,使学生对本课的语法A达到熟练的程度。呈现语法B,再通过一定的讲解,使学生了解副词的比较级和最高级的一些用法,及不规则的的副词的比较和最高级,再通过一些练习来巩固和提高。最后进行一个小的当堂测验,来了解学生对本课的两个语法的掌握情况,从而在下一节课中进行补充和完善。 教学点评:老师能贯彻以学生为中心的原则,关注教学过程,尽可能发挥学生的主体作用,让学生真实的去感受知识,体验知识,积极参与,努力实践,在活动中学会用语言表达交流,较好的体现了从不懂到懂,从不会到会,从不熟练到熟练的过程。本堂课的主要任务就是让学生通过副词的比比较级和最高级的练习,巩固新的语法知识,再引申至解答学生们自己的问题。这样循序渐进的方式既可帮助学生练习之前所学的句型和词汇,又巩固本课的教学重点。真正做到在学中练,在练中学。达到本课的教学目标。【学习目标】1 运用more than, fewer than 和less than比较数量。2 运用the most比较两个以上的事物,表示数量最多;运用the fewest和the least比较两个以上的事物,表示数量最少。【课前预习】一、译一译 1. morethan _2. fewerthan _3. lessthan _4. 得分最多_5. 得分最少 _ 6. 拥有的钱最少_7. join more clubs than_8. have less time than _ 家长签字 预习完成情况评价: 日期:【知识要点】1. 在比较级中,我们若比较两者间数量的多少,可用 morethan,表示比多,more可修饰可数或不可数名词。如: I have more apples than you .Lucy spends more time studying Chinese than Lily.2. 用fewerthan表示比少, fewer修饰可数名词,less(little的比较级)than也表示比少,但是less修饰不可数名词。如:Tom has fewer friends than Jim There is less difficulty than I thought3. Rose has more pens than I (do) .(注:此处若后有do则than后只能用I,若没有do则than后还可用me. ) 作为短语,常说/less than a week/(不到一周) /less than three hours/(不到三小时)。此处的less than不能改成fewer than.【当堂巩固】一、根据句意及提示完成单词:9.
