牛津小学英语5B Unit 9 The English Club单元教材分析:本单元的主要教学内容是关于各个不同的国家。通过对不同国家名称,国人及所使用语言的学习,让学生们掌握不同国家的表达方法,并了解到各地风俗习惯开阔视野,能放眼世界。此课作为本册课本的最后一个单元,在内容设计上具有一定的可延展性。在教授时,教师可以用多种手段展现各国不同的语言,风俗,标志性建筑物等等,并在教学过程中渗透学习好语言的重要性。让学生把自己所学习的内容运用到实际的生活中去。教学内容:本课时的教学内容为第一课时。教学目标:1. 能掌握以下句型及其回答,并能够熟练运用:Where are you from? Im from. Do you speak .? Yes, I do. / No, I dont. I speak .2. 能听懂、掌握四会单词:city, France, French, England, British, visit, 发音正确。3. 能听懂并理解三会单词:county, different, the UK, the USA, visitor, 4. 了解本单元中各国的基本情况,对风俗,习惯等有一定的知识积累。教学重难点:1. 能掌握本单元的句型,熟练运用其进行口语交际。2. 能熟练说出各国的名称,国人及语言的英文单词,并能正确书写。3. 掌握四会单词书写,city, France, French, England, British, visit, 能理解运用。教具准备:PPT课件,课本CD教学过程:Step One: Warming up and free talk1. 师生之间互致问候。2. T:I am your English teacher today. Do you know me?S: Your name is .You are an English teacher.Step Two: Presentation1. T: OK. Let me show you more about myself. (PPT出示教师的一些详细信息,在看读的过程中出示并学习新单词。)PPT: My English name is Jane. Im from Sihong. I like flowers and cats. Id like to visit France and England one day. My English name is Jane. Do you have an English name? I am from Sihong. Are you from Sihong. Where are you from? T: PPT Look, theres a picutre. Do you know the place? Its the Century Park. Wow, its so beautiful. Sihong is looking like a city now. ( 出示并学习新单词 city 城市 )Sihong is a small city.But Shanghai is a big city.T: There is another picture. Its a big city, too. Its Chengdu. My sister is studing there. So we are in different cities.( 出示并学习新单词different 不同的) T: I like flowers and cats. I think theyre very cute. Do you know this cat Carfiled? Hes from the USA. T: Id like to visit France and England one day.( 出示并学习新单词 visit, France, England )2. PPT: A map of the world T: Therere many different countries in the map. Id like to visit different countries. ( 出示并学习新单词 country 及其复数形式 )3. T: Different countries have different signs. Lets have a look. (依次在大屏幕上出示The Big Ben the UK; The Statue of Liberty the USA; Eiffel Tower France; Birds Nest China)4. T: People from all over the world came to China for the Olympic Games. So we must study English well. We can take part in the English Club.5. Show the title of this Unit and learn the new word: clubStep Three: Presention Learning tips 学习方法小提示:当我们看较长的对话或短文时,可以尝试速记,如时间、地点、人物等。1. PPT: Watch the cartoons and try to answer the questions. Who is the visitor? Where are they? How many students are there? (在读题过程中,学习新单词 visitor 参观者)Extensive Reading Skills 泛读技巧:1. 不发出声音,心中默读。2. 圈出一些和题目相关的关键词。2. PPT: Read the dialogue and circle. Nancy is Chinese / British, she is from the UK / France. Ben is from the USA / China, he can speak Chinese / French.(学生自读课文,然后答题。在圈出新单词之后,学习这两个新单词 British 英国人French 法语,法国人 )3. They speak English.6. 跟着课文录音朗读整篇对话。Step Four: Practise 小明的漫画日记 A visitor Kate 1. 认真看每幅图,弄清楚图意。2. 根据图片和句子,尝试说出被遮盖部分的单词,可以参考黑板上的单词,China, country, visitor, USA, different, French, city, visit.3. Read and juge. 仔细阅读完整的漫画内容,判断所给句子的正误。Step Four: Extending1. T: Today is a special day. Its the twelfth of May. Two years ago, the earthquake happend in Wenchuan. The houses were destroied and people died. The people from different countries came to help. Here are some photos about them. 2. PPT: (汶川地震中各国救灾的情景)They are from Korea, Japan, Singapore and Russia.3. The world is a big family. If everyone contribute a piece of love. The world will be a paradise.Step Five: Homework 1. Copy the new words four times. 2. Surf the Internet and try to learn more about countries.
