八年级上册Unit 6 I m going to study computer science. 宏毅中学 扈新华一、教材分析本节课的教学内容是人教版八年级上Unit6 Im going to study computer science的第一课时,其主要内容就是学习关于职业的单词以及be going to的用法,用一般将来时谈论未来自己与他人理想的职业及原因,为实现理想所做出的打算和安排,以及制定未来一段时间内的学习计划。目的是通过对人生理想的讨论使青少年在这个如花的季节不仅对未来有美好的憧憬,而且要从现在做起,为健康的理想而奋斗。二、学情分析1大班教学,学生语言实践机会少,程度不一;同时,步入八年级后一些学生羞于开口,通过各种合作学习的活动,尽可能多地为他们创造语言实践的机会。2中学生活泼、好动、好胜心强、可塑性大,在教学过程中,注意设置情境,倡导其活动参与,并引进小组竞争机制,更好地激发学生的学习兴趣,提高课堂效率。三、教学目标(1).知识目标:让学生掌握关于职业的名词pilot, engineer, lawyer , computer programmer, basketball player, fire fighter.语法:学会使用be going to表示一般将来时。(2).能力目标:了解有关职业的英文表达;掌握be going to的用法(3)情感目标:让学生会说自己和他人未来想从事的职业及原因,树立理想并为之奋斗。四、教学重点、难点。(1)重点:要求学生掌握关于职业的名词pilot, engineer, lawyer , computer programmer, basketball player, fire fighter. (2)难点:一般将来时be going to 中be 的具体形式和后面接动词原形的用法学生容易混淆。五、教学设计思路本课时首先归纳及拓展了学生们对职业的英文表达方式的掌握,其次把重点放在一般将来时be going to的基本使用上,设计多个活动,激发学生学习兴趣,为下一单元will的学习作出了铺垫。六、教法学法本堂课为一堂听说课,主题关于职业的单词和be going to do 的用法,在整堂课教学设计方面结合初中生心理特点,我主要采取游戏法,交际法和任务型活动教学法,来吸引学生们的兴趣,积极参与到这个活动中来。七、教学用具:多媒体、ppt课件,卡片等八、教学过程Step1 Lead-inGreeting with students, introduce my family members to students, then let students listen to a song, and in this song, students will hear a lot of words about jobs, if they can hear them, write down or remember them.( 设计意图:首先让学生听一首歌导入新课,在这首歌中包含了很多关于职业的单词,由此来引导学生复习以前学过跟职业有关的单词,同时这首歌很好的活跃了课堂气氛,使学生快速进入英语教学情境,给课堂带来轻松愉快的氛围。)Step2 Presentation1. Teach new words and expressions by showing the pictures. (设计意图:借助多媒体展示图片引入新词汇,这样过度自然,分解了教学难点,并且直观、形象,印象深刻.同时问学生对这些职业的看法。) 2、A guessing game. We have learned many words about jobs before. Now, Lets play a game to review them. Do you like playing games? And if youre right, you will get a little gift.(设计意图:采用猜谜游戏对所学过的关于职业的单词进行复习和巩固,并发放小礼物对学生进行鼓励,提高学生的学习积极性, 再次活跃课堂气氛。) Step3 A storyLet students listen to a story. Say, I have a good friend, he is a driver, he is a very friendly and kind person, but he has a very strange name, we call him Mr. Going to do. Mr. Going to do is a good driver but he has a bad habit. He always says, Im going to do something, but actually, he never does it. Do you want to know him?( 设计意图:通过讲述Mr. going to do的故事,让学生先感知一下be going to的用法,来引入be going to的用法,然后让学生自己进行归纳。)Step4 Make sentencesLets look at screen, there are three columns. Who, what, when. And I made a sentence as an example: I am going to watch cartoons in May. Please make sentences .The more, the better.( 设计意图:通过造句的方式来巩固be going to的用法及职业的单词)Step5 Pair workI like watching movies, especially Harry Potter. Do you like watching Harry Potter? He knows many things about the world; he even knows something about future. Do you want to know more about your future? In fact, I have a secret to tell you. Last night, He came into my dream, and he told me something about your future, and then I put your future in this envelope. A brave one can get a chance.( 设计意图:巧妙引出电影Harry Potter,设计了一个Harry Potter来到梦中告诉自己关于同学们未来职业的梦境,吸引学生兴趣,引导学生进行句型操练,达到一个锻炼口语的能力,同时加强同学之间的情感交流。)Step6 Group wokYou know New Year is coming, are you happy? So our school is going to hold an evening party in New Year. We need some volunteers for the party, do you want to join in? Try to make a poster for your volunteer group. Write down what you are going to do for Party. And you can draw to make it colorful.(设计意图:通过为元旦晚会设计一海报活动,使学生能力由说过渡到写,另外也渗透了点情感教育方面的内容,过程中帮助学生树立为社会服务的意识)Step7 Exercise1. Find the mistakes in the Mr. Going-to-dos words and try to correct them.2. Choose the right answers3.
